• Shuffle, rebuilt: every song plays once before anything repeats, Up Next shows the real order, and Previous takes you back to what you just heard. Turning shuffle on with Siri now really shuffles. • AI DJ is faster with large and network-drive libraries, and only picks songs that are actually available. • CarPlay & Siri: songs played without opening the app now count in your listening stats, and CarPlay connects faster when "Remember Last Song" is on. • Moved or renamed a music folder or external drive? Plinth now reconnects to your linked files instead of losing access. • Missing Metadata loads faster and updates instantly as you fix albums. • On iPad in Split View and other narrow windows, the mini player now fits on screen. • Better VoiceOver support when selecting albums. • Wi-Fi Transfer: browser uploads are now limited to 1 GB per file. • Fixed a crash on the Stats screen.

What's new in 1.4.0 • Lyrics are easier to find: a new Lyrics button in Now Playing. • Not the right lyrics? Pick another version anytime. • Tap the artist or album name in Now Playing to jump straight to its page. "Go to Artist" works again. • Remember Last Song: optionally pick up where you left off after reopening the app. • Artist pages can switch between a grid of albums and a full track list. • Better layout on wide and unfolded iPhone screens. • Your library is backed up before each update and recovered automatically if it can't be opened. • Faster with large libraries: lighter artwork, quicker Siri and Shortcuts, Stats and Settings. • Lists refresh right after edits, lyrics save errors are reported, and many stability fixes.

This update fixes two issues: - Fixed a crash that could occur when removing duplicate tracks from your library. - Fixed an issue where crossfade could cut a song short and clip the start of the next one when playing over AirPlay. Crossfade is now automatically disabled for AirPlay playback to prevent this. Thanks for the reports and keep them coming!

Fixes and improvements for CarPlay.

AI DJ now speaks Claude and OpenAI too, alongside Grok, Ollama, and Apple Intelligence. Bring the API key you already have — five providers, one queue, always your choice which one is listening. Also in this update: the AI provider picker is easier to read, setup works the same way for every cloud provider, and Shelf's album titles and artist names now stay readable — especially in Light Mode. Crossfade now stretches to 12 seconds — the slider in Settings used to stop at 5.

This update improves reliability for music stored on NAS drives and external volumes: - More accurate detection of when linked files are truly missing vs. just temporarily offline - Faster, more responsive file-availability checks - Various stability improvements and bug fixes

Crossfade! Smoothly blend between tracks as one song ends and the next begins — adjustable up to 5 seconds in Settings. Also includes playback reliability improvements and under-the-hood fixes.
