Whether you spend long hours at a desk, study, read, or simply want a moment of calm, SoftGaze offers guided routines for palming, blinking, breathing, and soft gaze. Every routine is short, accessible, and designed to be done with your eyes closed or softly open. What's inside: - Palming Rest: cover your eyes with cupped palms and let them rest. - Swinging and Sway: gentle side-to-side movement to release tension. - 20-20-20 Reminders: every 20 minutes, look 20 feet away for 20 seconds. - Breathing, Blinking, and Near-Far Focus: small breaks with a calm rhythm. - Historical context: learn about the Bates Method with evidence-aware labels that separate historical claims from modern evidence. Why SoftGaze is different: - Trust first: SoftGaze is a wellness app. It does not claim to cure, treat, reverse, or prevent any eye condition. - Safe sunning: outdoor mode is locked behind an explicit safety gate. The default is indoor warm-light visualisation. - Accessible: VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, Reduce Motion, captions, and high contrast throughout. - Privacy: local-first storage. No ads. No tracking.
