PLACES ON YOUR ENTRIES: Say where something happened. Pick a spot on the map and Reflect names the café or the beach you are standing in, not just the neighbourhood — or type a place in yourself. Tap a place later and it opens on a map inside the app, with Apple Maps a button away if you want directions. BOOKMARKS IN YOUR YEAR BOOK The ribbon under the book keeps a page. Tap it while you are reading to mark where you are, and tap it on a closed book to see everything you kept that year — choose one and the book opens and turns to that page. SCRUB YOUR TIMELINE BY DATE Drag the rail down the right edge to travel months at a time. It counts the weekly digest and the challenge card as stops of their own, so the rail and your entries stay in step, and the date you are on sits clear of your thumb instead of underneath it. ROOM TO BREATHE ON IPAD The bookshelf uses the whole screen now, in either orientation — bigger books in portrait, more of them across in landscape. Apple Pencil on iPad Write and draw straight onto the page. Drawings sit inline with your words — tap one to move or resize it, and erase just the part you want. Double-tap your Pencil to switch between pen and eraser, and pick a stroke weight from the pencil button. The page keeps extending as you draw, so you never run out of room. UNDO AND REDO Across everything you do — typing, drawing, erasing, adding a photo — in the order you did it. Undo scrolls to whatever it took back and marks it, so a change never happens somewhere you can't see. TAKE A PHOTO THERE AND THEN The camera is built into the photo flow now, so you can capture something and turn it into a sketch without leaving your entry. DRAWINGS THAT SUIT THE THEME In dark mode an attached sketch sits on warm paper instead of being inverted, so it looks like a print tucked into the page rather than a negative. ALSO IN THIS RELEASE The photo library opens faster, a saved entry no longer reopens itself afterwards, and an unfinished entry now keeps its photos and drawings as well as its words.

Meet Reflect's new hand-drawn sketch keyboard — a keyboard that matches your journal's handwritten mood. Turn it on anytime in Settings → Appearance. IMPROVED • Photos: browse by album, pinch to zoom, and preview attachments with the native context menu before adding them to an entry. • Drafts now survive a restart — if Reflect closes mid-entry, your unsaved writing is right where you left it. FIXED • The keyboard no longer misbehaves on the Lock Screen or during swipe-down search. • App Lock now remembers where you were and no longer overlaps other screens.
