Typing a check is fixed. The keyboard used to cover the buttons at the bottom of the box, so there was no way to send what you had typed without closing it first. The box now stops just above the keys, and you can put the keyboard away by tapping the paper or swiping the text down. Your text is kept either way. Buttons that ask your permission are green now, so a step that grants something never looks like a step that just moves you along. The microphone, camera and photo prompts now say Bewary, matching the name iOS shows above them.

New: Speak instead of typing Tap Speak, describe the call or read the message out loud, and Bewary checks what you said. Nothing leaves your phone until you agree to send it. Turning on scam text filtering is honest now. iOS will not let Bewary check that switch, so we ask you to confirm, and you can take it back. Free checks are no longer a mystery. The Check screen and Settings both show how many you have left this month. Hit your free limit part way through a check? Subscribe and Bewary picks that same check straight back up, instead of making you start over. Bewary is now easier to read: bigger text and clearer layouts across the whole app, so every alert can be scanned at a glance. New in Alerts: see the scams going around right now. Search the live scam library and filter by texts, emails, calls, DMs, or social, newest first and dated.
