Sound Capture Studio makes it easy to record audio playing on your Mac and save it locally for later listening, trimming, sharing, or transcription. Choose whether to capture all system audio, only selected apps, or everything except selected apps. Recordings are saved inside the folder you choose, with flexible quality options, mono or stereo recording, and optional silence detection that can automatically split long sessions into separate files. After recording, you can browse saved files, play them back, adjust playback speed and volume, trim recordings into new copies, rename files, delete unwanted recordings, reveal files in Finder, share audio, and create readable transcripts with timestamps.
