Luten is ready for iPhone Duo. Open it and Luten fills the large inner display; close it and Luten moves to the outer display while your sound keeps playing. On iPad, Luten now turns to landscape and works in a window of any size. Luten no longer asks for access to Apple Health when you open it in the morning. It asks only when you choose to connect Health. Long sound names in the mini player now end neatly instead of running into the buttons.

Tapping a sound that is already playing no longer shows a loading spinner over it, and in CarPlay it no longer says the sound could not start. A sleep timer that ran out while your iPhone was asleep no longer fades out the first sound you play the next morning. The morning card now shows last night's sound even when you stopped it with your alarm, and it includes a sound that is still playing. Celebrating a streak day in Today's Session no longer asks you for a rating.

CarPlay now plays even when Luten isn't already open on your iPhone. Start it from CarPlay and tap a sound. The morning card on Home, with what played last night, now appears when you come back to Luten in the morning, not only when the app starts fresh. Fixes: the subscription sheet has a clear close button. A tap skips the welcome animation the first time you open Luten. And Luten no longer asks about a reminder long after you stopped listening.

Luten in CarPlay now has everything: every section with its Adaptive Session and its sounds, plus what you played recently, under Luten's own icons. Tap a sound and it plays, even with your iPhone locked. Sleep and Kids are marked for passengers. Sona understands more of what you type, still entirely on your iPhone, and her replies stay closer to what you told her. Fixes: Deep Focus now shows its timer on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. On iOS 27, Luten now tells your iPhone which mode is playing and calms its animations when iOS asks apps to save resources. And moving past the sound step during setup no longer turns off the sound that plays when setup ends.

Luten is now in CarPlay: Focus and Stress on the car screen, one tap to play. When setup ends, a sound is already playing, unless you chose quiet. The morning after you listen with Luten, the app shows what played and when, plus your sleep from Apple Health if it is connected. You can turn on a short morning note. Save a mix: in the player, tap the bookmark to keep a sound with its volume and sleep timer, and play it again in one tap. Sign in and your mixes come back on a new phone. A weekly look at your listening, in plain facts. Picks say why they were chosen, and after a listen you can ask for more like it or something different. Sona, rebuilt: a closer read of how you feel, and plain about being software, not a person. Fixes: the setup sound keeps playing as you move through the steps, and loading and prices show clearly instead of blank spaces.

The sound you play during setup no longer cuts out a moment after you replay it. Filters behave. Rain and Ocean show rain and ocean rather than the same list, and a filter now opens with something ready to play. Your saved Luten password keeps filling in after a change to our website address. Clearer wording through the 7-day program and the sleep screens, and no set listening times.

Ask Siri. Say "Play sleep sounds in Luten" and it starts. You can also add Luten to a Shortcut, or reach a mode from Search. Luten now follows Reduce Motion. Turn it on in Settings and the Home screen settles instead of drifting. When your iPhone asks apps to do less, because it is warm or low on battery, Luten eases off its animation on its own. A reminder you asked for no longer slips because the app woke in the background to keep your sound playing.

This update prepares Luten for the newest version of iOS, so the app keeps opening reliably. Nothing else has changed.

Your iPhone can now save your Luten password and fill it in for you, on the sign in and sign up screens. Luten sends less about you. What you type to Sona has always stayed on your iPhone, and now the app no longer records whether a message was about a health or medical topic, and your email address no longer goes to our analytics or crash reports. Deleting your account now removes everything tied to it, including your subscription record and your usage data. On Home, your greeting stays on one line.

Luten is now an iPad app. Every screen is laid out for the larger display rather than stretched across it. The player, the sound settings and each section sit in a readable column, with the tab bar and the mini player to match. Reminders now come at most once a day, on as many days a week as you chose, and keep that setting after you close the app.

Sound settings now stay where you put them. The volume and loop you chose last night are still there tonight. The sleep timer deliberately is not: a timer set for one night should not come back armed the next. Loop does what it says now. Once plays through and stops. Repeat carries you on to the next sound. Kids has the same sound settings as the rest of Luten. The 7-Day Sleep Reset has moved to the Sleep tab, where you would go looking for it. Luten also opens faster when you come back to it, and Sona recognizes far more of the ways people describe a hard night.

Luten opens on what you actually asked for. Choose focus and you land on focus: the greeting, today's session and the sounds all follow your goal instead of following the clock. Setting up is four screens shorter. Two of them only asked you to keep reading. The reminder you are shown while setting up is now the reminder you actually get, at the time you actually get it. And when you type your name, the buttons no longer hide behind the keyboard.

The sleep timer fades now. It used to stop dead, which is a strange thing to do to someone who is falling asleep. Reminders do what they say. Turning them on schedules something whatever you came to Luten for, and tapping one opens a sound rather than a menu. Sona reads everyday phrasing better. Some ordinary turns of phrase were being taken too literally. Fewer screens between opening Luten and the first sound, and the Focus timer presets line up properly.

Focus sessions now go somewhere. Pick what you are working on and the sound follows a route that suits it: a walk to the library, a day at the office, a night train. Each place gives way to the next without a gap. Deep Focus Mode strips the screen back to the timer and holds it there, on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island too. Leaving takes a deliberate hold rather than a stray tap. Timers now end with a bell.

Sona can now tell the difference between how you feel and a question she cannot answer. Ask her about the weather and she will say so in her own words, instead of handing you three sounds. When something is genuinely beyond her, she says that plainly and points you to people who can help. The first onboarding screen now has a Skip for now, which every screen after it already had.

The player is now the Luten mark itself, turning slowly and breathing with whatever is playing, on a black screen that stays dark at night. Apple Health: Manage access now asks for permission instead of only opening the Health app. The artwork on the lock screen and in Control Centre is no longer cut off at the edges.

Backing out of a purchase no longer shows a message saying everything was unlocked. That only appears when something was actually bought. If Luten cannot reach the App Store, tapping a plan now tells you, instead of doing nothing. Small fixes across the app.

Creating an account now keeps everything you already had. Your sounds, your history and what Luten has learned about you carry straight over instead of starting again. Anything Sona suggests will play, free or not. If Sona picks it for you, it plays. Two sounds in every section are free to try. The upgrade screen is now the same wherever you reach it, with the same plans and the same monthly or yearly switch. Signing in with Apple no longer shows an error if you close the sheet, and if Apple cannot complete it you now get a message telling you what to check. Small fixes across the app.

You can start listening the moment you open Luten. No account is needed first. The iMessage stickers have been rebuilt from scratch, in Luten's own colors. Setup is faster now, and you can skip ahead whenever you like. Today's Session suggests something you can play right away. The plans screen shows every option with the prices for your region, what happens when the free trial ends, and how to cancel. Cleaner artwork on the Lock Screen and in Control Center. Small fixes to greetings and timing across the app.

New sounds across Sleep, ADHD and Stress, and a lot of quiet work behind them. Sleep gets a new set of beds grouped by the three things people actually need at night: getting in, staying under, and the 3am wake-up. ADHD gets broad, even beds built to hold one level the whole way through, with nothing in them that starts or stops. Stress gets sounds paced to the breathing patterns, so the sound and the guide move together instead of against each other. Family and Student are now available monthly as well as yearly. Tap a reminder and it opens what it was about, rather than wherever you left off. Also: a clearer Apple Health section, and copy across the app rewritten to describe what the sounds are rather than promise what they will do.
