ShadyTerms
Track terms for shady changes
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Companies update their Terms of Service quietly—adding arbitration, weakening privacy, grabbing your data. ShadyTerms alerts you in plain English when it matters.
Ever agreed to Terms of Service you didn't read? Everyone has—and companies count on it. They quietly update those terms to add forced arbitration, loosen privacy protections, or claim new rights over your data and content. The only notice you get is a vague "we've updated our terms" email.
ShadyTerms reads the fine print so you don't have to. We monitor the Terms of Service and privacy policies of the companies you actually use and alert you, in plain English, when something risky changes.
WHAT YOU GET
• Plain-English alerts — no legal sludge. Every change is summarized so you understand it in seconds.
• Risk levels at a glance — each alert is rated High, Medium, or Low so you can focus on what matters.
• A personal watchlist — follow the companies you care about and get notified the moment their policies shift.
• Track what counts — forced arbitration clauses, privacy rollbacks, AI training and data-use changes, content licensing, and more.
• Community-driven — don't see a company you use? Submit it and vote on what gets tracked next.
WHY IT MATTERS
Policy changes can quietly affect your privacy, your data, and your legal rights. ShadyTerms turns them into clear, timely alerts so you're never caught off guard.
