Longhand now speaks 16 languages. • The app, the questions and the reminders now come in English, Hindi, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Punjabi, Tamil, Sinhala, Vietnamese, Japanese, Arabic, Urdu and Hebrew. You and your parent can each use your own. • Voice notes: when they send a handwritten page, they can add a voice note to go with it, so you hear the story the way they would tell it. • Reactions: send a heart, a laugh or a thank-you on any story. They see who reacted, and it tells them their page was read. • Smaller fixes and polish throughout.

Image capture now understands more non latin handwritings

A quieter, steadier Longhand. • Fix the typed copy. If the reading gets a word wrong you can correct it — from a story, or while reading the Book. The handwriting itself is never touched. • Photos that aren't handwriting no longer turn into nonsense. If there's no writing on the page, Longhand says so instead of guessing. • Questions you take out of the week ahead now go back to their chapter instead of disappearing — including ones you wrote yourself. Add them again whenever you like. • Your invite code can be copied from More, so it's easy to send again. • Signing out asks first. • The tab you're on is marked, so it's clear where you are. • Setting up a family reads better, and never stalls waiting on suggestions. • iPad: today's question now lines up with the buttons beneath it.
