SCAMLYTIC LOOKS FOR THINGS LIKE
- Links that look like known companies but lead somewhere else
- Messages asking for logins, bank details, card numbers or codes
- Fake senders and suspicious numbers, such as premium-rate or invalid numbers
- Calls where someone asks for codes or wants you to install a remote access app
- Known scam patterns in wording and tone
NEW SCAM TYPES
Scamlytic also recognises newer scams such as fake parking and toll fines, parcels with customs fees, fake bank advisers on the phone, "Hi Mum" messages, fake investments and job offers, QR codes and fake buyers on marketplaces.
REPORT SCAMS AND HELP OTHERS
You can report scam numbers and links. Then everyone can see how many times a number has been looked up and how many people have reported it as scam or as a telemarketer. The whole crowd feature is free.
YOUR PRIVACY
The analysis happens on your device, and we never send the content of your emails or texts anywhere without your permission. The text only leaves your device if you choose the AI check in Premium and confirm it, and we do not store it. When you look up a number or a link, only the number or domain is checked. We never show who owns a number, only what others have reported.
FREE AND PREMIUM
The scam check and the entire crowd feature are free. Premium adds an AI check of the text that also catches new scam types which fixed rules can miss. Premium is a monthly subscription with up to 200 AI checks a month.
