HomeCamCheck
Webcam person detection, local
Only for Mac
Free · In‑App Purchases
Mac
No camera to buy: the webcam you already own watches your home. Person detection on the device, alerts on Telegram or by SMS, works with Homebridge and Home Assistant.
No camera to buy: your Mac's webcam watches your home and alerts you when a person is detected, all on-device.
HomeCamCheck uses the built-in webcam, a USB camera, or your iPhone via Continuity Camera. No cloud, no account, no hardware.
HOMECAMCHECK PRO REQUIRED
Every feature of HomeCamCheck is part of HomeCamCheck Pro. You choose how to pay: an auto-renewable annual plan, which starts with a 14-day free trial for new subscribers, or a one-time purchase that never renews. Both prices are shown on this page and on the purchase screen in the app.

PURCHASE DETAILS
HomeCamCheck Pro is available two ways. The annual plan is an auto-renewable subscription: new subscribers get a 14-day free trial, then it renews yearly. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, and the plan renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in System Settings, Apple Account, Subscriptions. The one-time purchase is a single payment for your Apple Account: it does not renew and is never charged again. Restore Purchases brings back either one.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
HomeCamCheck Pro is now available two ways: keep the annual plan with its 14-day free trial for new subscribers, or buy it once and never pay again. Restore Purchases covers both.
Settings moved into a proper tabbed window (Cmd-comma), with the theme picker in Appearance and a new About tab: help, feedback, rating, privacy policy and credits in one place. The Help menu now opens the app's help page.
Saved credentials are re-secured on first launch so they can no longer travel to another Mac through a backup. The built-in help now says plainly that HomeCamCheck uses the webcam you already have, and is not an IP camera or NVR client.
