No more pauses while a batch works: the progress ring moves smoothly through every video, big or small, and the jumpy time-left estimate is gone. Batches also finish sooner. Squish reads each video straight from your library, checks its frame rate up front so it gets the size right first time, and saves one video while it starts the next. Thanks for squishing!

Clearer messages: see how much space you freed, and what to do when something doesn't work.

Batches are now rock solid: every video you pick gets squished, one hiccup no longer stops the rest, and Squish keeps your screen awake and picks up where it left off if it's interrupted. It cleans up its temporary files as it goes and never saves a copy that isn't smaller. Every message has been redesigned to be clearer, and the size estimate now warns you when a video might land just over your limit. Thanks for squishing!

Squish now asks for a rating at a better moment: after a batch finishes cleanly, and never on the same screen as an offer. Rating Squish from Settings also means it won't ask you again for a while. Thanks for squishing!

Lifetime Pro is here on iPhone: pay once and keep Squish Pro forever, with no subscription. Plus small fixes and polish.

Squish Pro now unlocks batches of any size, and you can pay once for lifetime Pro. Up to 3 videos at a time stay free, with no watermark, size cap or ads.

Changing which videos Squish can see on iPhone now works reliably, and History no longer loses a video when your phone is almost full.

Videos from HDR cameras now keep natural colors when you share them. Location data now stays with your compressed videos. Big 4K videos now really fit size limits like WhatsApp: when a smaller picture is needed to fit, Squish tells you, for example "Fits WhatsApp (720p)". Videos in a format your phone can't compress now get a clear message. And starting a new compression right after stopping one now works every time. Fixed a crash when managing your photo selection on iOS 18.

Squish now speaks German, French and Portuguese. The Custom size chip now shows the size you picked, plus small fixes.

A calmer Squish. Choose how good, or where it's going (WhatsApp, Email, Discord), on one screen, and Squish remembers your choice next time. Resolution and format now live under More options. Home shows more of your library, with each video's size right on the tile, and thumbnails now fill their tiles. History and Settings moved to the top of the home screen. The result screen leads with Share, and freeing up space stays one tap.

Squish now shows what got smaller versus what you have actually freed, and frees it in one tap from the result, from History, or from a one-time reminder on the home screen. Squished copies are badged in your library. Target size batches confirm every file fits. Android 14 and up remembers your photo access choice. Fixed a crash on iPhone when compressing videos with surround-sound or high-resolution audio. Also: Delete moved off the Compress bar and a clearer Pro screen.

Fixed a rare hang when accessing your video library on newer iOS versions.

Fixed a rare crash with certain video files on iOS 26. Small stability improvement.

Squish now behaves like the phone it's running on. On iPhone, confirmations and the format picker use proper iOS action sheets. On Android, the back gesture gets the system's preview animation. And on both, switching tabs no longer loses your place in the video list.

Squish 1.1.5: a quiet engine-room update to keep squishing quick and smooth.

Fixed a rare freeze when sharing a just-squished video. Small under-the-hood updates to keep Squish squishing smoothly.

Fixed a rare crash when estimating size for very short or already-compressed videos.

Fixed a few rare crashes when deleting your original videos after a squish — that flow is rock solid now. Thanks for helping make Squish smoother!

Squish just got a bigger personality (and better manners). - The little mascot now squishes and stretches while your video compresses - Clearer, honest progress - and if a file can't be compressed, we tell you and let you retry - Smarter photo access: pick "Selected Photos" and manage it right from the app - New "Largest first" sort to find the space hogs fast - A tidier, more tactile feel throughout, with a fresh display font Free stays free: no watermark, no size cap, no ads.
