INTRODUCING CONNECT PLUS Connect Plus is now available in the app. As well as increasing the number of connected sensors to 24, it brings CAN bus to Watchlog Connect. Connect up to 4 Watchlog CAN to Bluetooth bridges, each supporting up to 24 channels of CAN data. Standard J1939 messages are decoded out of the box, with no files to load, and you can add your own DBC files for any other CAN bus. - Every signal on the bus is listed live, searchable by name, PGN, SPN or source. Switch a signal on and it becomes a channel you can chart, record, alarm on and report, just like any other sensor. - Up to four bridges at once. Machines with several controllers are kept apart: two engines sending the same reading are two channels, never one mixed line. - Machine faults: active and historic J1939 faults with their warning lamps and a plain description, and an optional marker on the chart the moment a fault appears. - Readings the machine reports as unavailable, invalid or out of range are shown as such and never recorded as data. CALCULATIONS - New Force (kN) calculation from a pressure sensor and a jack area. - A calculation can now use another calculation as its source. - Every calculation shows its result unit and how it is worked out. RECORDING AND SESSIONS - Auto or Manual recording is now chosen per session, with a default for new sessions. - Closing a new session asks you to name it, or to discard it along with its recordings. - Optionally save where a recording was made; it appears in the PDF report. REPORTS AND CHARTS - PDF reports are made from a single dialog: choose the part of the chart to include, add your logo, and the file is named with the date. - An Events button in the chart sidebar opens markers and triggers, and event markers now show on the navigation bar under the chart. - Cancel now really cancels in the channel editor, auger calibrations and the events manager: nothing is changed until you press Apply. CONNECT TAB - Sensors keep their places in the lists. A sensor that drops out fades where it is instead of making the others jump. - On iPhone, the CAN tab is tighter: its heading and bridge controls scroll away, and the filters stay at the top. - The Help manual has numbered steps on every page and opens on the page for the tab you are on. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS - Lower battery use while a tab is hidden. - Many smaller fixes.
