US reports add Red flags (FEMA flood zone, NFIP claims, leaking storage tanks, brownfields, lead paint disclosure, code violations) and a Municipal record for NYC, Chicago, LA, Philadelphia, DC and Montgomery County MD (permits, certificates of occupancy, liens, rental registration, zoning, historic status, property tax: each place's subset). Both are a heads-up, not a title search. Fixes: London lift access, bus stops no longer crowd out train stations, US energy prices and gas dates.

London reports now show nearby stations with lines, fare zone, step-free access and journey times to central London. US reports add your state's electricity and gas prices and the typical household bill. New sold prices in Ireland and Taiwan, flood and tsunami hazard maps in Japan, and natural hazard levels in Indonesia.

UK reports now show the home's energy certificate (rating, floor area, age, walls, roof, heating, running costs and recommended improvements), plus area deprivation, a Census profile, the nearest schools with Ofsted results, the nearest park, river and main road, and nearby planning applications. Article 4 rules are now explained in plain English.

UK reports now add flood risk from rivers, sea, surface water and reservoirs, coastal erosion, road and rail noise, freehold or leasehold, local house prices, protected landscapes, tree preservation orders and green belt, with links to the energy certificate (EPC) and council tax band.

Much more about every US address. Reports now show, where the data exists: Building records: HUD inspection scores for HUD-assisted buildings, affordable-housing (LIHTC) status, National Register historic listings, state property records (year built, units, size) in 8 states, lead water service lines (Denver, Detroit, Cincinnati, Washington DC, Pittsburgh), building safety programs (seismic retrofits in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle; New York elevator, boiler and facade inspections; Chicago demolition and asbestos notices), vacant or condemned status, and energy scores in 9 cities. Around the building: reported crime within 250 m in 18 cities, 311 complaints in 16 cities, and new hazards: sea level rise, wildfire hazard, nearest earthquake fault, tornado and landslide history, high-voltage lines, air quality and heat risk, plus state zones such as California fire, fault, liquefaction and tsunami zones, Hawaii lava zones, Florida sinkholes and contaminated sites. Abroad: Toronto apartment scores, Montreal inspections, UK shared-house licences, Victoria bushfire and Canterbury liquefaction.

Seven more US cities get a full A-F building grade: Anaheim, Orlando, Cape Coral, Daytona Beach, Reading, Duluth (GA) and Vancouver (WA), plus Montgomery County, MD, where the county enforces housing code. That makes 56 US cities and one county. Browse a ZIP now covers 39 of them and the AR walk 43. Eleven new countries: Hungary shows official energy certificates; Greece, Cyprus and Bulgaria show the land registry's parcel record; Lisbon shows building permits; Sweden, the Philippines, Mexico, Chile, Peru and Malta add national flood or earthquake data. Hong Kong now shows Buildings Department consents. Blueprint covers 44 countries. UK reports now open with red flags to raise with your solicitor: flood zone, flood history, coal mining, radon, old landfill, conservation area, listed buildings, Article 4 and scheduled monuments. A source that doesn't answer shows as unknown, never as clear. Where a city's open data only goes back a year or two, the report now says so, and the 5-year chart only appears where there really are five years of records. France reports load faster, and the app is fully translated into all ten of its languages. Search now works out the country and city from the address on its own, and if a place you picked has no match, it looks everywhere and tells you.

Browse a ZIP now covers 34 US cities, up from 28: Allentown, Bend, Lakeland, Lehigh Acres, Scottsdale and Toledo are new. The AR walk now shows graded buildings in 10 more cities: Aurora, Toledo, Scottsdale, Midland, Lehigh Acres, Allentown, Cambridge, Lakeland, Spokane Valley and Bend. Open a Blueprint link without the app installed and the building's grade appears instantly in an App Clip. Pro: Questions to ask at the viewing now read more naturally and match on every device. Blueprint now records the searches you make: the address you look up and its result, sent to our own server so we can see which cities to add next. No account, device or advertising ID is sent, your IP address is not stored, and records are deleted after 90 days. Settings > Privacy describes this. Also: a Blueprint link now opens the right report even when another one is on screen, Tucson grades use the city's full, current records, and Gujarati wording is corrected.

New: an optional "Share searches" setting in Settings, off by default. When you turn it on, each lookup sends the address you typed and its result to Blueprint's own server, so we can see which cities to add next. No account, device ID or advertising ID is sent, your IP address is not stored, and records are deleted after 90 days. Grading still happens on your phone, and with the setting off the app sends nothing to us. Also: corrected Gujarati translations.

Browse a ZIP now covers 28 US cities, up from 17. Augusta, Cleveland, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Louisville, Mesa, Montgomery, Omaha, San Antonio, Syracuse and Tucson are new. Browse a ZIP now names every city it covers, so you can see the list before you search instead of finding out afterwards. The worst-rated buildings in a ZIP are now ranked across every matching record rather than a partial sample. In larger ZIP codes the old list could miss the worst building entirely. The market picker now says what each market can actually tell you: building violations and an A to F grade, an official energy label, a building record, building permits, or an area view. Thirteen markets now state the region they really cover, so Germany reads as North Rhine-Westphalia and Australia as New South Wales.

Two cities were not being graded at all, and now are. San Francisco and Pittsburgh both publish their records through systems that changed underneath us: San Francisco moved its open-data site, and Pittsburgh switched off the query interface we used. In both cities every lookup was failing. Both are fixed and grading again. Also new: tap any line in "What we found" to see the records behind the number. Every graded city supports this now, not just New York, so you can read the actual violations rather than take a count on trust.

This update corrects the building grade. Blueprint could show a good grade built on incomplete data. If a city's records were unreachable, the report read as if the building were clean instead of saying it could not be graded. Blueprint now tells you when it cannot grade a building rather than showing a falsely good result. Billings has been removed: its city no longer publishes the violation records we graded it from. Also fixed: Street names containing words like Park, Row or Pike no longer break address matching. UK postcode searches resolve to the exact address instead of a nearby one. The 0-100 score in Compare now always agrees with the letter grade. Italian addresses are recognised in worldwide search. Towns that share a name with a larger city no longer route to the wrong city's records. New in this release: A record trend chart now appears for 30 more US cities, so you can see whether a building's history is improving or getting worse. Ireland now shows planning applications near any address, covering all 31 planning authorities nationwide. The Gujarati translation is now complete.

Building grades go international. France shows its official DPE energy grade and Italy (Lombardy) its official APE energy grade, from open government registers, each with a plain-English explanation of what it means. New: a neighbourhood Area risk score for international addresses (air quality, plus flood, seismic or radon where published), clearly about the surrounding area, not the building. Walk-the-block AR now works in many more US cities. Plus a Singapore Green Mark badge, Spain and Israel building views, and fixes including more accurate UK postcode search. Every source stays free, official and keyless.
