Arithmetic Calculator teaches arithmetic the way a tutor would — one step at a time, on a real grid-paper canvas. Watch carries propagate, borrows get crossed out, partial products stack up, and long division unfold with an L-bracket, quotient digits, and bring-down arrows.
Type any problem and press =. The app generates every algorithmic step, then walks you through each one with a clear explanation. Auto-play mode advances automatically, and optional spoken narration reads each step aloud.
FOUR OPERATIONS, FULLY VISUAL • Addition — column-by-column with carry propagation and checkmarks • Subtraction — borrow visualization with cross-out and rewrite in blue • Multiplication — partial products, carry rows, and decimal alignment • Long Division — L-bracket, quotient, products, differences, bring-down arrows, remainders, and repeating decimal detection. Decimal support for all operations.
THREE MODES TO LEARN
Solve — Free-form calculator with a full keypad. Type any equation using +, −, ×, ÷. Multi-operand problems (3+ numbers), decimals, and negative numbers all supported. Step through the solution at your own pace or let auto-play walk you through it.
Practice — Fill-in-the-blank worksheets. A complete problem appears on the grid with blanks in the right places. Fill each blank in algorithmic order — carries, borrows, result digits, partial products, quotient digits. Hints available for every blank. Choose Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulty.
Quiz — Test your skills. Pick an operation (or mix all four), choose a difficulty, and answer 5–20 questions. See your score, review wrong answers, and retry instantly.
SPOKEN NARRATION Enable Step Audio and the app reads each solving step aloud using your choice of device voices. In auto-play mode, the next step waits until the narration finishes — no rushing ahead.
