Expirea 1.0.6 — What’s New * Household Sharing — Create or join a household, invite members, and securely back up and sync your pantry with your household. * New Household experience — Manage members, sync your pantry, rename or delete your household, and see sync status at a glance. * Account & Settings redesign — Updated Settings, Apple sign-in, account management, subscription and Pro experience. * Better sync & onboarding — Improved backup, join flows, animations and clearer account requirements. * Privacy & polish — Updated privacy information and various UX improvements across the app.

What’s New v1.0.5: See an estimate of the value of food you saved. When you remove a product, Expirea adds its approximate price to Est. value saved in Settings. You can set your own price, choose a currency, and leave a product out of the total. A price you enter is remembered the next time you scan that product.

What’s New in Version 1.0.4 * Sign in with Apple is optional. On a new install, users can choose Continue with Apple or Continue without account. The app remains fully usable without an account. * A signed-in session is restored when the app is reopened. In Settings → Your Account, users can sign out without losing products stored on the iPhone. * Delete Account in Settings → Your Account permanently deletes the Expirea account, including the name, email address, and account identifier stored with it. Local products remain on the iPhone. The user’s Apple ID is not deleted. * Signing in does not upload the pantry, product photos, or expiry dates. This data remains on the device. * Settings has a new layout, with product reminders and recipe reminders separated. * The in-app privacy summary and hosted Privacy Policy now describe the optional account flow. Privacy Policy last updated September 27, 2026. * No demo account is required. Reviewers can use their own Apple ID or choose Continue without account.

Features: - A custom screen appears before the iOS notification permission dialog, so people can choose to turn reminders on. - Ten new recipes, plus an updated photo for carbonara. Fixes: - Small UI tweak

Features * Product detail, scan result, and settings UI aligned with updated design (sheet, freshness timeline, actions). * Recipe tab loads faster; switching Today / Yesterday / Other tips replays the staggered reveal animation. * Smarter scan naming: fewer false types/flavors from back-label text; fibre claims ignored; unknown brands fall back to product type when known. * Manual expiry edits are kept when late OCR arrives. Fixes * Scan result screen no longer freezes after scan or save (UI looked active but did not respond). * Faster save and naming; heavy image work moved off the main thread.

Fixes: - Notifications: Turning off recipe alerts no longer turns them back on by itself. Expiry reminders can stay on while recipe alerts stay off. - Recipes: Daily recipe suggestions update again when recipe notifications are off (they were tied to notification refresh before). - Search: First tap in the product search field feels more responsive. - After scan: Product name edits with one tap; keyboard layout no longer squeezes Save and Close above the keyboard; title text no longer shifts spacing when you start editing. Improvements (not new capabilities) - Recipes: Updated photo for Cheese Toast.
