DolceRight Renovate & Settle
Your Italy Renovation Guide
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Buying the house was the easy part.
DolceRight: Renovate & Settle is the guide nobody hands you when the keys are in your hand and the real work begins — permits, contractors, local bureaucracy, and the process of actually settling into life in Italy.
It was built after a hard lesson: losing real money to a contractor trusted with a renovation, and learning — the expensive way — everything this app now hands you from day one.
WHAT'S INSIDE
Renovation Planning
Understand the phases of an Italian renovation before you start — what happens when, what to budget for, and what most first-timers get wrong.
Permits & Bureaucracy
A plain-language walkthrough of the permitting process and the local bureaucracy that runs differently depending on your comune — so you know what to expect and what to ask for.
Contractor Management
What questions to ask before you hire, what red flags to watch for, and how to manage a renovation from a distance if you're not living in Italy full-time.
Settling In
The part after the renovation — registering, paperwork, and the everyday practicalities of building a life in Italy once the work is done.
WHY THIS EXISTS
There's no shortage of generic renovation apps. There's nothing built for the specific reality of doing this in Italy — where the rules change by region, the timelines don't match what you're used to, and the wrong contractor can cost you more than money.
This app was built for the person who has the keys and no idea what comes next. The person searching from abroad. The person already mid-renovation and wishing someone had told them sooner.
Every screen in this app is something the founder needed and didn't have.
FROM THE MAKER OF DOLCERIGHT: FIND & SECURE
This is the companion to DolceRight: Find & Secure, the app that helps you search for and buy property in Italy. Together, they cover the full journey — from finding the right property to settling into the life you bought it for.
