This is one of those apps you don’t realize you need until you try it. It brings back the satisfying feel of mechanical keyboards with my standard Mac keyboard. The sound effects are crisp, responsive, and surprisingly immersive, especially with the spatial audio feature that makes keystrokes feel like they’re coming from the actual position of your fingersTheres no extra hassle to go through for this feel. I used to be into gaming, now as a student I do not miss that old keyboard feeling. Again, you don’t realize until you’ve used this app. I see that the app does not use any info for tracking so that’s also good to know. Typing is more enjoyable with Tacque. It’s a simple idea executed exceptionally well.

High quality sound profiles. The spatial audio tracking works perfectly across headphones and speakers, creating an accurate replication of a premium mechanical keyboard layout. The audio latency is unnoticeable.

I absolutely loved sounds that this app added to everything I wrote! For whatever reason it has stopped working across the apps I write on. It’s works in the menu bar when selecting my preferred sound, but as soon as I leave it the app, to actually go type, it goes silent unfortunately (and yes I do have the proper settings on).

I absolutely love this app, it has so many unique sounds that are satisfying, one of the best free keyboard apps that I’ve found
