Weave Studio is a visual automation builder for macOS. Instead of stringing shell commands together by hand, you lay out a "weave" — a flowchart of nodes on a canvas — and run it.
HOW IT WORKS
Drag nodes from the palette and connect them:
- START begins the flow.
- PROCESS runs one of your scripts (Bash, Python, or Swift) or a command-line tool, capturing its output.
- DECISION branches the flow based on a previous node's result — exit code, output text, a value pulled from JSON, duration, or success/failure.
- OUTPUT writes a report (text, CSV, HTML, or PDF) of the run.
Run the whole thing with one click and watch it execute live, node by node, with a console of each step's output.
MANAGED SCRIPTS
Add Bash, Python, and Swift scripts in the built-in editor, run them on their own, and reuse them across weaves. Arguments and environment variables are configurable per node.
SCHEDULER
Run a script or an entire weave on a recurring schedule — daily, on chosen days, at a set time — in the background.
VERSIONED DOCUMENTS
Weaves are saved as versioned documents: keep the current version or save a new one, and re-open any earlier version.
RUN HISTORY
Every run is recorded locally with its duration, per-node output, and any errors, so you can review exactly what happened.
BUILT FOR macOS
Native SwiftUI. Sandboxed. No account required. Scripts run through the system's sanctioned Application Scripts mechanism, and Weave Studio only touches folders you explicitly grant. Optional, anonymous diagnostics help improve reliability — no personal data, no tracking, and your scripts and their output never leave your Mac.
