RoadLore 1.3 puts the map first. Browse story pins anywhere, tap "Search this area" to see what's worth hearing where you're looking, and listen right from the map, no drive required. Search for what you're into, from waterfalls to roadside oddities, and discover more offbeat and historic places than before. On the road, swipe through upcoming stories, see each one framed on the map, set your ideal story length, and hear stories that get to the point and finish before your exit. Other apps now lower their volume instead of pausing, and a quick quiz recaps the places from each drive.

RoadLore 1.2 makes it easier to shape each drive and revisit what you discover. Choose a trip focus from the start card, change interests and narration preferences during a drive, open saved places directly into their stories, and find Saved and History from your Explorer profile. We also improved first-run location prompts, upcoming-story ordering, map discovery at launch, distance formatting, and the parked-drive experience.

Stories now include richer local context and fun nearby trivia. Explore a new six-track soundtrack with more music choices, and keep music playing softly under narration. Settings are simpler to navigate, and the map controls no longer overlap when you rotate the map.
