Offline access sync now continues when you leave Settings, keeps photo download progress, and restores your saved setting when CHOIL opens. Invite friends with your referral link to earn bonus monthly giveaway entries, Pro time, and collector recognition when they become active collectors. You can delete your own ISO posts from their cards or detail screens.

The Grind has a simpler layout focused on the feed. Creator alert settings now open the correct settings screen. Includes navigation and reliability improvements.

Fixes an immediate launch crash on iOS 27. Message conversations show the other participants more clearly, and creator and community navigation stays within the app. Includes reliability improvements for startup and deep links.

OFFLINE ACCESS Fixed a repeated photo-sync pass when a background refresh did not change your collection. GIVEAWAY CLAIMS IN THE APP Winners can submit shipping details and view claim status and tracking directly in Giveaways. Linked YouTube channels help verify winners before shipment. Existing email claim links still work. This one covers everything since 1.0.110. LOANS Track what you have lent out and what you have borrowed in. Record the item, who has it, the date it went out and an optional due date. Lend to a CHOIL friend and they accept it on their side; lend to anyone else and you just write the name down. Borrowed items stay separate from your vault and its value. Vault menu, or the overflow menu on any item. YOUR TAKE ON EACH PIECE Rate price, value and quality, one to five stars, on any item you own, and keep a dated journal of impressions. Both stay private unless you turn them on for a piece you share. TODAY'S CARRY, AND A CARRY FEED Pick what is in your pocket or spin for it, then share the day with a caption if you want. Community, then Carry Feed, shows what other members are carrying. The day now rolls over at your midnight instead of UTC. MAINTENANCE IN SESSIONS Clean, oil and sharpen in one sitting and it logs as one session instead of three entries. The action list follows the category now: movement service and pressure test for a watch, nib service for a pen, flint and wick for a Zippo. Record angle, grit, lubricant, torque, who did the work and what it cost. Long-press an action to delete it. Vault menu, then All maintenance activity, lists everything due across the whole vault. ON AIR, ON YOUR PHONE Spin Wheel, Tier Lists, This or That and the Carry Wall now run in the app, not only on the web. Pull entrants from a YouTube live chat, spin, hand out prizes, keep the winner history. HOSTED GIVEAWAYS Browse giveaways other members are running, with a countdown and entry in the app, or host your own. SNIPE HISTORY Every price check you have run, searchable by brand or model, with the numbers you saw at the time. COMPARISON PRIVACY Fourteen switches in Settings for what a friend can see when you compare vaults. Purchase price, acquired from and date, serial number, notes and the maintenance log start off. YOUR CORRECTIONS FEED THE SHARED CATALOG When two members independently record the same product fact — blade steel, lock, movement, lumens — it becomes the catalog entry everyone sees. Nothing about your own copy is shared: no serial, condition, prices, values, dates, notes, ratings or photos. PRICE CHECKS AND EBAY SOLD PRICES eBay put sold listings behind a sign-in. A price check now shows what sellers are asking on active eBay listings, labelled asking, never sold. Sold prices come only from your own signed-in eBay session through the Snipe browser extension on a computer. When a check has no sold data it says so rather than showing a number it cannot stand behind. ALSO • Excellent and Very Good conditions, between Like New and User • Unfollow and reorder creators in The Grind; Like and Subscribe from inside CHOIL once you connect a YouTube account • The Case sorts by newest or most viewed • A per-item permission dialog before one of your photos can be used in the public catalog Fixed: one stuck edit could jam sync, refresh, the keyboard and the Back button for the whole app. Fixed: vault photos stop blanking and reloading while you scroll. Fixed: an edit that conflicts with the server shows you both versions and lets you choose. Fixed: with a hardware keyboard, Return is a newline in a message and Cmd+Enter sends. Fixed: conversation headers show who is in the conversation. Fixed: the marker on an item card says FAVORITE, not HOLD. Fixed: the app icon badge counts unread direct messages. Fixed: deleting your account removes your files, not just your records.

Selling is simpler. Listing a piece now takes two steps instead of six — it all happens in one place — and a link you share shows your asking price with a way for buyers to reach you. Fixed: back buttons across the app now return you where you came from instead of jumping somewhere else. Fixed: the app icon badge shows unread activity and clears when you read it. Fixed: the photo-sharing setting now shows what your account actually holds.

Creator videos: tapping through to YouTube now opens the YouTube app instead of a cut-down web page, and Like, comment and Subscribe are one tap from the player.

• Compare 2–6 of your pieces side by side — every field they record • Modification log: what was done, who did the work, and what it cost • Wrong identification? Tell us — a second model looks again free, and the credit goes back if it still can't place it • Deep scan is gone: every scan gets the premium model when it needs it, at one credit • New-video alerts from The Grind open the video inside CHOIL • Giveaway entry has moved into the app; free mail-in entry in the Official Rules

The Case is now the one place to sell, trade, or say what you are looking for. Everything that was on the Trading Post has moved here, conversations included. - Case entries now have a discussion thread and a message button - Post an ISO when you are hunting for a specific piece - Fixed a large empty gap at the top of the Shows screen - Show search no longer turns up shows that have already happened

- The Grind: the Follow button now sits beside the input, and the creators list collapses once it grows past six - Best in Show: tap any entry photo to view it full size - Bug fixes and performance improvements

The Grind plays in the app. Tapping a video used to hit a YouTube player error — it now plays right where you are, with a Watch on YouTube button if you want the full site. Fullscreen photos have a way out. Tapping a photo could strand you on a blank screen with no way back. There's now an X in the corner, tapping the photo closes it, and you land back on the knife you were looking at. Your cents are showing again. A $214.99 purchase price read back as "$215". The cents were always saved — now they're displayed, on every price, everywhere. Photos from Files actually opens Files. On iPhone that button was opening a second Photos picker, so iCloud Drive was unreachable. Fixed. iPhone HEIC photos now import too — we convert them for you — and oversized shots get resized instead of rejected.

The Grind — a new creator feed. Watch the knife channels we follow without leaving CHOIL. Message CHOIL — you can now write to the team directly from Settings or Messages. One private thread, straight to us. Giveaway winners: this is how you claim. Readability fixes — selected filters and buttons had light text on an amber background in a few places. They're now dark-on-amber and actually legible. Thanks to the member who reported it. New spec fields — Step-Milled blade finish, Skiff bearing options, and materials for clip, backspacer, pivot collar and inlay. Giveaways now show every date and time in Central, so the countdown matches the livestream.

• Giveaways are now drawn live on stream — announced on the CHOIL channel, and you must be present to win. Entry is still free with your CHOIL account; no purchase necessary.

• Offline vault: add and edit pieces with no signal — everything syncs itself when you're back online • Collection now shows your whole vault, and every vault can be filtered by item type • Smoother back navigation in Trading Post, Shows, and Community • Portfolio accuracy improvements

Links in your Inbox are now tappable. The shows list no longer surfaces shows that have already ended. Assorted fixes and polish.
