This update improves reading-progress tracking and adds a retry option if Today cannot load.

Qur’an references in Pray now open the matching verse in Hikma’s own reader, with the surrounding passage available. This update also includes clearer English wording in selected Pray passages.

• Find duas by title, meaning or reference, and keep favourites close. • Set optional reminders for each prayer: Off, Silent or Sound. Ameen adds a short adhan or spoken reminders. • See Hijri and Gregorian dates together, with guidance on local moon sightings. • A quick introduction shows what's new. Alignment, reading settings and the paywall are clearer, too.

Pause and resume Qur'an audio without losing your place. The playback bar stays visible, and you can choose 1.0×, 1.25×, 1.5× or 1.8× speed. A subtle divider beneath the top bar keeps scrolling content clearly separated from the reader controls.

In this update: every widget is now included with Hikma Ameen, including Refuge and photo or colour backgrounds. Arabic Qur'an recitation is free without limits; everyone can preview the first three English verses of each surah, while Ameen includes the full English reading. Alignment has a fuller presentation, a direct path into Reflect, and cleaner centred widget designs.

Hikma now has a beautiful dark mode. The whole app settles into a calm, elegant dark — your daily verse, Reflect, the Qur'an, Duas, prayer times, and every widget — following your device automatically. Gentle on the eyes before Fajr and long after Isha. New to Hikma? It's a daily companion for thoughtful Muslims: • A daily verse with warm, human-reviewed guidance, and two short reflections to sit with. • Reflect — a private, grounded conversation for whatever's on your heart. It points you to scholars for rulings, never invents them. • The Qur'an, beautifully readable: Arabic, a clear English translation, and full recitation — always free. • Duas for every moment, by occasion and by feeling, from the Qur'an and the Sunnah. • Prayer times & Qibla, computed privately on your device. • Verse videos to share, a private journal, and Home Screen widgets. Also in this update: a more polished paywall and small fixes throughout. Thank you for being here.

Introducing Duas. A collection of cherished supplications from the Qur'an and the Sunnah, gathered two ways: by occasion, from morning to night, and by feeling, for the moments when words are hard to find. Anxiety and gratitude, travel and family, forgiveness and refuge. Open it from the top of your day. We've also polished the app throughout. Thank you for being here.

Share the verse, beautifully. • Turn any verse into a luminous video or graphic for Reels, TikTok, and Stories — set to recitation or gentle music, over a cosmic backdrop or a photo of your own. • Save what you make straight to your photo library. • A quieter, more refined design throughout, including a redesigned Account screen. Thank you for reflecting with Hikma.
