CTD Ingest Studio turns any Mac into a self-serve media drop-off station for live events. Plug in a card, tap your name, and your footage is copied, verified byte for byte, tagged with your camera and color settings, and filed exactly where the editor expects it — without ever touching your originals. ONE STATION, THE WHOLE CREW • Create a project per event or per night — each with its own destination folder and rules • Add your videographers once; assign them to projects or leave it open to everyone • When a card goes in, the station asks "Who's dropping off?" — big tap targets, no typing • Several cards can ingest at the same time, each with its own progress bar EVERY BYTE VERIFIED — YOUR CARD IS NEVER TOUCHED • Read-only on every card: it copies and verifies, and never erases, formats, or writes to your source media • Files are SHA-256 hashed as they stream off the card, then the copies are read back and re-hashed — a card is only cleared for reuse once every checksum passes • Crash, sleep, or accidental quit? New in 1.20.0 Sony shooters • Clips now sync on the camera's own clock: capture time is read from Sony's per-clip XML sidecar — every Sony body, Alpha and FX through the cinema line — so the timeline is right even when file dates aren't. • Camera model, color science and lens flow from the sidecar into the editor handoff automatically. Projects • Already ingested something by hand? Add that folder in place — nothing is re-copied, and its clips join the project and the editor timeline. • A "camera clock looks wrong" warning can now be dismissed when the times are actually fine.
