Never lose something you copied. Press Option+V for your clipboard history — newest first, pin what matters, and everything stays on your Mac. WhereInClipHistory gives your Mac the clipboard history you've been missing — a tiny menu-bar utility that remembers every piece of text you copy and brings it back with one keystroke. PRESS Option + V, GET YOUR HISTORY A small panel appears right next to your pointer with everything you copied this session, newest first. Click any entry to put it back on your clipboard, ready to paste. Press Escape or click anywhere else and it's gone. PIN WHAT MATTERS Pin the snippets you reuse — email signatures, addresses, code fragments, IBANs. Pinned clips sit in their own section at the bottom of the panel and survive restarts. Everything else is session-only by design: quit the app and it's forgotten. FIND IT FAST A built-in search field filters your history as you type, matching both the text and the app you copied it from. That's the "WhereIn" part — where in my clip history did I copy that? TEXT ONLY, LOCAL ONLY WhereInClipHistory records text — nothing else. No images, no files, no screenshots. Your clipboard data never leaves your Mac: there is no account and no sync, and pinned clips are stored in a plain local file you can inspect yourself. The app sends only anonymous usage statistics (EU-hosted, never your clipboard contents) so we know which features matter. AT HOME IN YOUR MENU BAR No Dock icon, no windows lying around — just a quiet clipboard icon in the menu bar, like the tools that came with your Mac. Click it for the same history panel, or use the Clear All button to wipe the session (pins stay).
