The optimizer now saves the smaller copy to your photo library before the original goes to Recently Deleted. Deleted videos are now called videos, and the deletion screen shows the same size as the confirmation afterwards.

With Premium, the goal bar in the space plan now simply shows your plan, without a Premium note.

CleanPix 4.0 – space with a plan. Set a goal for how much storage you want to free up: CleanPix measures your free space and orders the steps to get there by safety. New tabs: Space, Clean Up and History. What you delete goes to “Recently Deleted” first; History shows separately what is still waiting there and what is actually free. Plus a new design.

Maintenance release without new features: the app has been rebuilt, and your data and settings stay unchanged.

Purchasing and restoring now respond right away, even while CleanPix is still checking your subscription. The verified archive now saves reliably, even the first time. Plus clearer wording when deleting photos and videos.

A completely new design: edge-to-edge photos in a grid, clear category tiles and violet as the only accent, light or dark to match the system. Easy to read with large text too. Counts and quantities now read correctly in every language.

A clearer start and results screen. An expired subscription is now shown correctly as soon as the app opens.

Storage estimates now handle small files and mixed file sizes more accurately. Files in multiple categories are counted only once. A subscription started on another device is now recognized right after the app opens.

Maintenance release without new features: the app has been rebuilt, and your data and settings stay unchanged.

The optimization selection now shows thumbnails of your photos and videos.

Small labels are easier to read with stronger text contrast.

The Premium page has been redesigned: clearer and easy to read, even at very large text sizes.

Small internal improvements.

Tapping a locked category now opens the upgrade screen for that exact category, not a generic one.

Accessibility: decorative symbols before Premium rows are no longer read aloud by VoiceOver.

Photos that are simply too dark now appear under "Dark photos" instead of the blurry ones. Archives with Live Photos and RAW+JPEG stay complete when you save them.

Full-size preview in the delete review — check every photo in detail. An optional monthly clean-up reminder. Live Photos and RAW+JPEG are archived completely. Two-column layout with large text sizes.

Maintenance update with no feature changes. The store description is corrected: it mentioned PDFs the app does not clean up, and compression names that do not exist. Paid features now carry a lock everywhere. Tap one and the offer names that exact feature.

The scan result, “Review new photos” and the deletion review have been reworked: one button per step, consistent numbers and a way back on every screen. Many bugs fixed as well — among them, results from the background analysis now reach the app, and archive errors are named precisely.

With Premium active, the free features no longer look locked, and the one-time purchase sheet can be dismissed even at very large text sizes. The app's legal notice link points to the right page again.

Eleven categories instead of three — and the paywall tells the truth. • Onboarding promised “three categories” while the app has eleven. It now states the real number. • The premium tiles on the home screen were dead until a count had loaded; they now always lead to the explanation. • The paywall advertised the size of your library instead of the benefit.

The archive now saves exactly the photos that get deleted, and the round stays complete when duplicates are found. Size and progress figures match what actually happens again.

Verified archives and restores are now more resilient, including interrupted writes and moving between Android and iOS. A fresh protection check immediately before deletion also prevents photos that became protected in the meantime from being removed.

Every suggestion has a photo that stays. We never delete anything without your confirmation.

CleanPix now correctly respects the system text size across all key screens. Labels, controls, and results adapt to your setting while staying clear and usable.
