Talk to Claude Code from anywhere: on your local network, over a VPN like Tailscale, or any route to your Mac. Voice in, voice out, even on the move. PAILot is a voice-first remote for the Claude Code sessions running on your own machine. You run AIBroker on your Mac. PAILot connects to it from your phone, over your local network or any private connection you set up, such as a VPN like Tailscale or WireGuard. There is no PAILot cloud — your voice, your transcripts, your conversations stay between your device and your server. WHAT YOU GET • Talk to any running Claude Code session by voice. Get a voice reply back. • Switch between sessions from a single chat view. Each session keeps its own history. • Send screenshots, photos, and files straight into a session. • Drive the remote terminal — arrow keys, Enter, Esc, Tab — without typing on a tiny keyboard. • Get push notifications when a long-running session needs your attention, even if the app is in the background. • Works offline-first: messages queue locally and sync when you reconnect. WHO IT'S FOR Developers, researchers, and anyone who runs Claude Code sessions on a Mac and wants to keep tabs on them away from the desk. If you have ever started a long agentic task and then had to leave the house, PAILot is for you. HOW IT WORKS You install AIBroker on your Mac (open source, MIT licensed). PAILot connects to it over TLS-encrypted MQTT, on your local network or remotely through a VPN or any other route to your Mac. Speech-to-text and text-to-speech run on your Mac using Whisper and Kokoro — nothing is sent to a third-party transcription service. PRIVACY • No analytics SDKs. No tracking. No advertising IDs. • Your messages, audio, and transcripts never reach our servers because we don't operate any. • Push notification tokens are sent to your own AIBroker server, which uses them to deliver pushes via Apple's APNs.
