Free videos can now be 30 seconds long, up from 15 — long enough to post as-is. Free is now 30 seconds The old 15-second cap stopped people right where they wanted a little more room. Free now reaches 30 seconds so you can finish a first video end to end. Pro (45s), MAX (90s), watermark-free exports, higher resolution and the 60 premium voices are unchanged. No more being thrown out of your edit Tapping a Pro-only control used to jump you to the plans screen, away from the video you were building. Now a short note appears in place — close it and you are exactly where you were. The plans screen opens only when you ask for it. A first-run walkthrough on Home Three real screenshots show the whole flow: pick your media, let the AI write the script and voice, then save and share. It disappears once your first video is done. Media limits shown before you pick Up to 25 photos and videos, 600MB total. The remaining count stays visible while you select, so uploads no longer fail after the fact. We also suggest how many items suit the length you chose. Better waiting The progress bar during script generation no longer freezes partway, and it now shows an estimate based on how many items you picked. We also stopped promising a notification when notifications were never enabled — you can turn them on right there. Plus general stability improvements.

A major improvement to narration quality. - Fixed rushed narration; the read now fits the length you choose - Narration flows naturally across scenes instead of sounding clipped - Fixed timing drift between scene changes and the voice - Captions no longer break in the middle of a word - More natural wording in the generated script

Generation is now safer and more reliable. • Temporary failures retry automatically; permanent errors stop early • Credits are returned after a failed generation or a pre-processing cancellation • Your media and settings stay ready for one-tap retry • Automatic upgrade prompts before results were removed • Stronger upload checks, authentication, and privacy disclosures

This update lets you fine-tune the narration speed by characters (or words) per second, and fixes the long-standing problem of the narration sounding slow even at Normal. ■ Fine-tune the narration speed with a slider Step 2 now has a precision slider next to the Slow / Normal / Fast buttons, so you can set any pace in between. The current setting is shown as a number, such as "2.8 words/sec", so you can dial in exactly the tempo you want. Languages counted by character show characters per second instead. ■ Narration no longer sounds slow or dragged out The old Normal pace was slower than the voice's natural speaking rate, so the audio was stretched during export and sounded sluggish. We measured the real voices and recalibrated: Normal is now about 1.5× faster than before. With almost no time-stretching left, clarity and audio quality improved too. Normal is the default. ■ Preview instantly with the speaker button Tap the speaker button beside the slider to hear a sample read in your chosen language and voice, at exactly the speed you just set. You can judge the tempo by ear before spending a generation. ■ Script length is optimized to the speed The AI now writes exactly as much narration as the chosen pace needs: faster means a longer, more detailed script, slower means a tighter one — and the video length you picked never changes. The screen shows an estimate such as "about 138 characters for a 20-second video". ▼ About Reel Make Reel Make is an AI video generator: pick photos and clips from your phone and AI handles the structure, narration script, voice-over, karaoke captions, background music and cuts, turning them into a vertical 9:16 short video. It ships with 32 multilingual voices, caption designs, templates and motion effects, and finished reels can be posted or scheduled to TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X and Threads in one tap. No editing skills required — go from camera roll to a share-ready reel in minutes. Feedback is always welcome via Settings › Contact in the app.

This update fixes the root cause of renders that stopped partway through, and repairs direct posting to Instagram. ■ Fixed: video generation could fail partway If you generated a reel while a scene's narration script was left empty, the text-to-speech step could error out and the video never finished. We tracked down the cause and fixed it, so a reel now exports to the end no matter what state the script is in. If speech synthesis hits a temporary network error it retries automatically, and if it still can't recover the reel is exported without narration instead of failing. A render can no longer stop halfway and take your credit with it. ■ Reels without narration are now fully supported Leave the script empty and Reel Make builds the video from your clip's own audio plus music and captions, with no AI voice-over at all. Perfect when you want to use a 40-second clip as one continuous scene, for vlogs where the on-location sound is the point, or for shop and product reels. Scenes without narration are no longer squeezed into a flash — they get a proper amount of screen time. ■ Long narration scripts now synthesize correctly Long scripts are automatically split at sentence boundaries before speech synthesis. Even long reels with many scenes now export all the way through, with natural delivery. ■ Fixed: direct posting to Instagram Posting Reels straight to Instagram could fail. Instagram fetches your video from its own servers, so the app now always hands it a public delivery URL. Captions are trimmed to Instagram's 2,200-character limit automatically, and when a post does fail the app tells you exactly why (file too large, expired connection, and so on). Posting to TikTok, YouTube, X and Threads works as before. ▼ About Reel Make Reel Make is an AI video generator: pick photos and clips from your phone and AI handles the structure, narration script, voice-over, karaoke captions, background music and cuts, turning them into a vertical 9:16 short video. ■ More reliable direct posting to TikTok Posts now correctly reflect your connected TikTok account's actual settings (whether comments, Duet, and Stitch are allowed), and we've added the required AI-generated content disclosure. If a post is blocked by TikTok's review process, the app now clearly explains the cause and how to fix it (for example, temporarily setting your connected account to private). We're continuing to improve reliability so your posts publish automatically without a hitch. ■ Finishing effects now default to "None" Previously, choosing a theme on the home screen automatically applied motion, transitions, and effects for that theme. With this update, we've removed that automatic behavior so everything now starts at "None" by default. If you'd like to add movement and flair, you can pick and add effects anytime from the Step 4 finishing screen. Whether you prefer a calm, understated look or want to go all-in on effects, it's now easier to get exactly what you want. ■ Direct and scheduled posting to social media Post or schedule directly from the app to five platforms: TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X (Twitter), and Threads. AI automatically generates captions and hashtags tailored to each platform, and you can edit them anytime. Schedule posts for one hour later, three hours later, the next morning, three days out, and more—and see at a glance which platforms you've already posted to. ■ New image post mode Beyond video, you can now turn your own photos into a set of images ready for social media. Just choose your assets in the dedicated wizard on the home screen and create them in a few taps. Even everyday photos that don't quite warrant a video can be quickly polished for social posts. ■ Auto-generated narration, captions, and music From the prompt you write or the theme you choose, AI creates everything from the outline and narration script to captions and music selection. Choose from a wide range of narration voices to match your language and the mood of your piece. We're also continually improving reading accuracy to reduce mispronunciations of names and technical terms. ■ Powerful customization For those who love to fine-tune their edits, we offer karaoke-style captions, a music library, libraries of motion, transitions, and effects, playback speed control for video clips, and more. We also support output sizes tailored to where you're posting, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Apple, and Google. ■ Features that unlock with your plan You can try creating videos even on the free plan. Upgrade to Pro or MAX to unlock more: a higher limit on the number of videos you can generate, more narration voices, direct and scheduled posting to social media, and much more. ■ Multilingual support The app interface is available in 15 languages. Generated narration and captions are multilingual too, so you can use the app to reach audiences around the world. ■ Other improvements We fixed minor bugs and optimized various display details.

Fixed credits resetting to zero after purchase. All narration voices now unlock immediately after upgrading to Pro/MAX. Added a No Text option to Step 2.
