Fixes for setting up your reading profile on iPad. • Fixed: on iPad, the spacing and typeface choices could not be scrolled, so the last options were out of reach. Every choice now fits its card and the list scrolls. • Fixed: when you tried a background, its name could show a letter in a color meant for your old background, which was hard to see on Muted Slate. It now uses the same colors as the rest of the page.

Two new ways into a hard page. • Summarize: the main points of a page in a few short sentences, about one for each paragraph. Tap the sparkles in the reader, or shake your device. • Simplify: the whole page again in shorter sentences and everyday words. Math, headings and short lines stay exactly as they were. Both appear in your own typeface, spacing and colors, and can be shared or saved. Both are written on your device by Apple Intelligence. Your page never leaves your phone, and it works offline. They need an iPhone or iPad with Apple Intelligence. On other devices ClearPage works exactly as before. A summary or a rewrite can miss or change a detail, so the original page is always one tap away.

Your reading settings, redesigned. • Settings is now a short overview. Each row shows your current choice, and opens one focused page with your sample text pinned on top, so every change shows up live. • Typeface, size and spacing on one page, with quick Standard, Wider and Widest spacing or your own custom values. • Numbers & Math in one place: symbols, confusable digits and Math Power. • Pick a read-aloud voice by tapping to hear it, and set your reading speed. • Fixed: the Rounded typeface and bold text could switch back to the standard font at some text sizes. • Fixed: hard-letter colors on light tints are bright again instead of nearly black. • Larger tap areas for close buttons, and more contrast fixes.

A maintenance release: small fixes and a calmer reading screen. • Framing a photo forgives more. The four corners now move independently, so you can trace a page that sits crooked in the shot. ClearPage straightens it before reading, which also helps it recognise the text. • The reading screen is quieter. Read Aloud, Paragraph Spotlight, and the reading ruler now sit together in one bar at the bottom, and the panel that repeated your layout settings is gone — those live in Settings, in one place. • Paragraph Focus is now Paragraph Spotlight. The paragraph you're on is lit, rather than everything else merely dimmed — and tapping any paragraph moves the light there, which didn't reliably work before. • You can leave a page with the back button or by swiping in from the left edge. • The Profile tab is now called Settings. Nothing in ClearPage belongs to an account, and the old name suggested otherwise. • ClearPage now follows your device's language instead of keeping a separate setting of its own. • The Home Screen widget has been removed. Control Centre, the Lock Screen, the Action Button, the share and action extensions, and Siri all still work — if you had the widget placed, you can remove it from your Home Screen. • Fixed an icon that drew Chinese-style strokes in every language.
