Wick: Candle Maker's Calc
Wax, fragrance, wick & cost
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
The cited candle-maker's calculator: wax weight, a safe fragrance load with the IFRA cap, and wick size. Free forever, no trial, no subscription.
Free to download, and the calculator is free forever — no subscription, no ads, no account. Works offline.
Wick is the candle-maker's calculator — every number you need to pour a candle, cited and in one place, instead of a stack of web pages.
Enter your vessel and wax, and Wick gives you, free and unlimited:
• WAX NEEDED — by vessel volume and container count (volume × the wax's specific gravity).
• FRAGRANCE LOAD — the oil weight for your target %, with a safety guardrail: it warns when you exceed your wax's max or your fragrance's IFRA limit (oil bleed and wick-choke are real fire risks).
• WICK SIZE — a starting-point ECO/CD recommendation by container diameter, bumped up for a heavy load or dark dye.
• ADD / POUR TEMPS and CURE TIME for your wax.
WICK PRO — ONE-TIME UNLOCK
• SAVE UNLIMITED RECIPES and reuse them.
• COST & PRICING — enter what you actually pay for wax, fragrance, wicks and vessels, and Wick returns your true cost per candle and your margin at your retail price. This is the one thing a free web calculator can't do: it never knows what you paid.
WHY WICK
Every number traces to a named source — CandleScience and The Flaming Candle wick guides, IFRA Category 12 limits, and wax-manufacturer spec sheets. No guesswork, no "trust our formula."
• Ounces or grams
• 100% private and offline — no account, no cloud, no ads
• Pay once. No subscription, ever.
Wick's numbers are a cited starting point. Candle making involves open flame and hot wax — always burn-test your own candle for safety.

The calculator is now free forever — wax weight, fragrance load with the IFRA cap, wick size and pour temps, with no trial clock and no time limit.
The 48-hour trial is gone. Wick Pro is now a one-time unlock for saving recipes and for costing them: your true cost per candle and your margin, from the prices you actually pay.
