Camino Wayfinder 1.5 strengthens the daily planning core on every route. When Booking.com partner inventory is available, Stay Tonight continues to work exactly as in 1.4. The stage planner now handles mid-route starts, exact dates, and recovery days, and hands off cleanly to the map, beds, and baggage for your selected day. Today shows a clearer effort comparison with your previous walking day, and every distance, climb, and service figure carries an honest freshness label. Groundwork for fully offline, voice-guided walking-day navigation ships in this version but stays inactive: it will switch on in a coming update only after its route data passes independent field verification, so nothing unverified ever guides your walk. The app now records privacy-preserving crash diagnostics - never your location, never an identifier - so trail-breaking bugs get fixed faster. Booking continues on Booking.com. Payment timing depends on the offer and may be online, at the property, or mixed; Camino Wayfinder shows the provider state when available. Room selection may need to be confirmed again there, and availability or price can change before booking. When live partner inventory is unavailable, Camino Wayfinder shows no live price, keeps a broader Booking.com search available while online, and shows verified direct contacts when any are available.

Camino Wayfinder 1.4.1 refreshes the complete offline trail dataset — 36,355 places across all five routes, including water, food, lodging, pharmacies, and transport — captured directly from OpenStreetMap this week. When Booking.com partner inventory is available, Stay Tonight continues to work exactly as in 1.4. Downloaded trail data now ages honestly instead of expiring all at once: place information keeps its last-checked date and gradually moves to a clearly labeled stale state, so your saved routes never flip to an all-expired warning mid-walk. Verified and recently confirmed claims keep their strict expiry. The app can now let you know when a newer version is available, so future data refreshes and fixes reach you sooner. Update guidance appears only for the installed app and never blocks offline access to your downloaded routes. Booking continues on Booking.com. Camino Wayfinder 1.4 makes Stay Tonight faster and easier to understand. When Booking.com partner inventory is available, the app checks current accommodation and room offers for your dates and party. When reachability and offer evidence are sufficient, it highlights one explainable Wayfinder recommendation using the displayed price, qualified guest-rating signals, and available distance information. Otherwise it presents a transport-first candidate or a safe booking/contact handoff without calling it a recommendation. For a verified live offer, it shows the stay total and nightly price, payment timing, cancellation information, and the supported reasons for the choice. Booking continues on Booking.com. Camino Wayfinder 1.3 reorganizes Community into three clear places: Trail chats for your route, town, and stage; My conversations for direct messages and invite-only groups; and one read-first Camino-wide room for everyone walking to Santiago. A first direct message arrives as a request, so nothing reaches you until you accept it. You choose who may ask: pilgrims on your route, only pilgrims you already message, or nobody. Near-me rooms now offer 5, 10, and 25 km presets, so your shared position is rounded to the radius you choose and expires on its own. Mute a room or a conversation without leaving it, and see and undo everyone you have blocked. Also fixed: typed baggage pickup and delivery details are no longer lost while trip data loads, and Today no longer shifts as reports arrive. OpenStreetMap essentials and Booking.com search are unchanged, and a price is labeled current only after a live provider response.

Camino Wayfinder 1.2 introduces the new Shell + Compass identity and a simpler five-tab experience: Today, Map, Beds, Plan, and Community. Community and Sign in with Apple are now immediately visible on iPhone and iPad. Stay Tonight adds dates, pilgrim count, simple filters, neutral ranking, direct call/WhatsApp/website actions, and one-tap Booking.com search. The Francés and Portugués now include an offline OpenStreetMap directory for bathrooms, drinking water, cafés, restaurants, bakeries, groceries, pharmacies, ATMs, laundry, medical help, transport, and lodging. Prices are labeled live only when a provider returns a current result; otherwise direct contacts and offline data remain available.
