DigCrate: DJ Set Planner
Plan sets that mix in key
Only for Mac

Mac
DigCrate reads BPM, key, and energy from your local music library, right on your Mac. Describe the set you want, and Pro puts the tracks in an order that stays in key.
DigCrate turns your local music library into playable DJ sets.
Drop in a folder and DigCrate analyzes every track on your Mac — BPM, musical key in 8A-style harmonic notation, and energy. Describe the set you want in plain English ("60 minute liquid roller, start mellow, peak at minute 40") and the planner picks and orders tracks for harmonic flow, using Apple's on-device intelligence or a local model you run yourself. No accounts. No API keys. Your music never leaves your Mac.
EVERYTHING FREE:
- Library scanning and on-device analysis (BPM, key, energy)
- Track previews with a smart cue point
- Manual corrections and a review queue for suspect analysis
- Search and library stats
DIGCRATE PRO (one-time purchase, no subscription):
- AI set planning from natural-language briefs
- Transition scoring on the harmonic wheel, with plain-language explanations of why each handoff works
- Gap analysis that flags weak transitions and suggests the bridge-track profile to hunt for
- Bridge-track discovery: one click opens Beatport, Spotify, or SoundCloud searches built from your gap
- Export to Rekordbox XML or M3U with metadata intact
Built for DJs who prep on a Mac: harmonic mixing rules with half-tempo handling (87 vs 174 BPM resolved correctly), DJ-jargon-aware planning (dnb, ukg, rollers, hardgroove...), and exports that drop straight into your decks.
