Agroecology Map AI
Education
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Agroecology Map AI is a free software assistant for exploring agroecological knowledge. Ask questions in natural language and receive answers grounded in curated documents, including scientific papers, technical manuals, field guides, booklets, theses, and reports.
Unlike a generic chatbot, Agroecology Map AI searches its knowledge base before answering and shows the sources used, so you can verify the context and continue reading from the original material.
The app is built for farmers, educators, researchers, students, rural extension workers, communities, and social movements working with agroecology, permaculture, sustainable agriculture, food sovereignty, soil care, biodiversity, and traditional knowledge.
What you can do:
- Ask questions about agroecology and related practices
- Read answers connected to cited sources
- Browse the knowledge base documents
- Suggest new documents for review
- Edit your community profile
- Explore public community profiles and contributions
Agroecology Map AI is part of the Agroecology Map ecosystem, an open data and citizen science initiative that maps agroecological experiences, documents practices, and connects territories. The project is maintained by volunteers and released as Free Software under the GPLv3 license.
The platform is in active development. AI answers can be incomplete or inaccurate, so always verify important information against the cited sources and your local context.
