3DTurbo brings real-time 3D turbulence to your Mac. It runs a spectral Navier-Stokes solver and renders the swirling flow with a GPU volume raymarcher built on Metal, so you can watch fluid dynamics evolve live, frame by frame. Spin up a simulation in seconds and explore it interactively. Drag to orbit the volume, scroll to zoom, and switch what you see on the fly - vorticity, Q-criterion, kinetic energy, or helicity - each shaded with classic scientific colormaps including Inferno, Viridis, Turbo, and Magma. Tune the physics as it runs: choose Taylor-Green or random turbulence, pick a grid from 64 cubed up to 512 cubed, set the Reynolds number, and dial in forcing to keep the flow energized. A live heads-up display tracks energy, enstrophy, and step rate, plus charts of the time history and the energy spectrum E(k) with the Kolmogorov k^(-5/3) inertial-range reference. Handy keyboard shortcuts let you cycle the render field (F), colormap (C), and background (B), and pause or reset with a tap. Whether you are teaching fluid mechanics, studying turbulence, or simply enjoy mesmerizing physics, 3DTurbo turns the equations of motion into something you can see, steer, and explore.
