A daily charge next to your streak shows how many photos you can sort today. "ON THIS DAY" WIDGET Add the new widget to your Home or Lock Screen and relive photos taken on today's date in past years. Three sizes, updates every hour. Your daily goal now lives on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island too. CLEAN UP SIMILAR SHOTS, FAST In Similar, tap the circle to mark photos, drag across several to grab a whole burst, and delete them in one go. Hide a shot with the eye without deleting it. ONE WAY TO SELECT, EVERYWHERE Albums, Similar, Recently Viewed, Bursts and Trash now work the same: the selection circle is always there, drag to multi-select, tap to open full screen. Grids are tighter, so more photos fit on screen. RECENTLY VIEWED IS NOW A JOURNAL Sorted photos stay in the list. A photo only leaves when you send it to Trash — and restoring it brings it right back. RELIABLE iCLOUD Reinstall the app and your Trash, recent decisions and hidden photos come back on their own. Turning sync off now asks first and clearly tells you what it removes from iCloud. 1. Invite by QR code: Bring a friend with a single QR: they point their camera and land straight on your invite. The QR button now lives on the invite screen, in your profile, and right on Home in the "On this day" carousel. 2. A signature Picstreak frame for sharing: Share a photo and it's wrapped in an unmistakable Picstreak frame. It works across every share option and toggles on or off in Settings. (AirDrop and "Save to Photos" still get the clean original.) 3. Hints right on the deck: The app gently surfaces hidden gestures: swipe a photo down to Favorite it, tap near the edge to undo your last action. A new hint reassures you that deleted photos aren't gone — they wait in the app's Trash, then in iOS "Recently Deleted." 4. Little things that feel good: — Added toasts when you Favorite a photo — Removed the green stripe on photos loading from iCloud — Fixed rare freezes and crashes on weak connections and when backgrounding — Invite links now open correctly in messaging and social apps

Cleaner photo cards, faster video, smoother launch. New - Photo cards are tidier: only Share and More stay on screen. Tap More and the rest slide up in a neat column. Tap anywhere on the photo to close. - Hold-to-speed-up video now works in Albums and Trash too, not just the swipe deck. Up to 2x free; with Pro, the full range up to 5x plus rewind.
