Simple Scanner
Utilities
$2.99
Simple Scanner turns your iPhone or iPad into a fast, private document scanner. Point the camera at a receipt, contract, or whole stack of pages — Simple Scanner finds the edges, straightens the perspective, and saves everything as a clean, searchable PDF.
Everything happens on your device. No account, no sign‑up, no cloud upload, no ads, no tracking.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Scan single pages or long multi‑page documents in one session
• Automatic edge detection and perspective correction
• Choose Colour, Greyscale, or Black & White for each scan
• Searchable PDF output with on‑device OCR in 15+ languages (English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean and more — whatever your iPhone supports)
• Rename, preview, and reorganise scans in a clean list
• Share or export to Files, Mail, Messages, or any other app via the standard share sheet
• Works fully offline
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Your scans never leave the device unless you explicitly share them. There is no analytics SDK, no third‑party network calls, no hidden background sync. The camera is used only while you are scanning.
GREAT FOR
• Receipts and expense reports
• Contracts, leases, and signed paperwork
• ID and passport copies you need to send
• Invoices and delivery notes
• Lecture notes, whiteboards, and handouts
• Anything paper you want to archive as a searchable PDF
DESIGNED FOR iPhone AND iPad
Built with SwiftUI and Apple's own VisionKit document camera, Simple Scanner feels native on every screen size. The same scans appear on iPhone and iPad with consistent quality.
NO SUBSCRIPTION, NO LIMITS
Simple Scanner is a one‑time purchase. No paywalls, no premium tier, no recurring fees, no "pro" upsell, no cap on how many documents or pages you can scan. You buy it once, you own it.
REQUIREMENTS
• iOS or iPadOS 16.0 or later
• A device with a rear camera for scanning
