Runebook is an AI story game where you play the protagonist in a living, open-ended world that remembers what happened.
You are not choosing between path A and path B. You can say what your character does, ask questions, follow clues, make promises, betray allies, fall in love, run from danger, or change the course of the story.
And Runebook remembers.
Characters track what you do. Relationships evolve. Clues persist. Favors, betrayals, secrets, injuries, promises, and discoveries can return later in the story.

Runebook is free to download. Eligible new players receive 25 complimentary Adventure Credits for private solo story play. After those trial credits are used, players can continue eligible private solo preset or custom stories by purchasing a monthly subscription or a finite Adventure Credit pack.
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled and include a recurring Adventure Credit allocation, multiplayer play, and higher account limits. Adventure Credit packs are optional consumable in-app purchases that add a finite, non-expiring credit balance but do not unlock subscription-only features.
