Fixes • Back from a book search result now returns to your results. • If you started tracking when you subscribed, the app no longer keeps asking you to add past boxes. • Tapping a skip or billing reminder opens the right subscription. • Your budget shows the same numbers everywhere in the app. • Boxes with a "skips in a row" limit now let you record a skip and show how many are left. • Some forms opened partly off screen, hiding the Save button. • Add any box: ask us to add it to the catalog, or just track it yourself. • The Sales calendar shows your plans: a bell for reminders, a green check for orders.

Skip by the real date "Skip by" now shows each box's own cutoff, not your charge day. Book of the Month and Allurial close on the 6th, and many other boxes close a few days before they bill. Sales Record "I bought this" as soon as a sale is live. Spot something wrong on a sale? Tap "Report a problem". Submitting a sale now checks whether it is already listed. Notifications Links in notifications open in your browser, the list updates while it is open, and your sale reminders show up there too. Plus smaller fixes and polish.

• Which book was that month? Month history now names the book behind every month. Open a month and tap the book to go straight to its edition details. • Every edition in one row: search keeps every edition of a book together, special editions and collector sets included, in one row you can swipe through. • Fixes: a skipped month no longer hides your next charge, text fields no longer cut off what you type, large libraries show every photo on the shelf again, and duplicate warnings stay on boxes billed ahead.

• Plus: Cratelog on the web. Plus members can now use Cratelog in the browser at app.getcratelog.com. You'll find the link in Settings, right under your profile. • Sell any book. Record a sale for any book, not only subscription boxes. Add what you paid when you add a book, mark it sold from its page, or record a sold book from Expenses even if it was never in your library. • Combo boxes, box by box. A combo's reveal card now shows each box on its own row with its own spoiler peek. Selling part of a combo? Pick which boxes you sold and keep the rest. • Invited, but not joining. Got a waitlist invite you're passing on? Let us know on the invite sheet. Your wait still counts toward the typical wait other readers see. • Photographed books in search. Search results now mark books other readers have photographed, so you can see the real copy before you add it. Plus bug fixes and performance improvements.

• Monthly budget: set a monthly limit in Settings and see how much of each month is already spoken for. Cratelog warns you before a sale reminder would push a month over. • Pick your edition: scan a book with several editions, swipe through them with covers and readers' photos, and choose yours. Not listed? Add it with a photo of the front. • Sales: live and upcoming drops now show together, live first. Filter Upcoming, Live and Ended in any combination. • Light and Dark mode now apply everywhere on iOS, including headers, tab bar and keyboard. • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

New • Home screen widgets: Subscriptions shows your next skip deadline and next charge, Sale reminders shows the sales you're waiting for. Small or medium, light or dark to match the app. • Plus: arrange Today your way. Reorder, remove and add cards, including two new ones: Skips left, showing when your skips come back, and Reading, showing your current book and unread shelf. • Plus: Compare your boxes now shows each box on its own scorecard.

Every author now has a page. Tap an author on any book and see their whole body of work: box editions, community submissions and the back catalogue, with printings of the same book folded into one row. Now you can tell a standalone from book four of a series before you buy. A book can be read more than once. Finished books get a Read again button, a count line and a list of previous reads you can edit. Every completed read counts in Read this year, and StoryGraph and Goodreads imports bring your old reads with them. Your library works with no signal. In a bookshop with no connection, Library still lists your books and the ISBN scanner still answers "do I own this?" from the copy stored on your phone. Better book search. Title and ISBN lookups now go through a larger book database, with the old one kept as a backup. Fewer misses, better covers and page counts. A subscription's start month can be fixed from Edit subscription, so your box history counts back from the right month. Feature requests. Settings, Support & legal, Feature requests opens the idea board where you can post what you want next and vote on what others asked for.

Tapping a reveal notification now opens the box it belongs to, and every notification shows its full text and time. A book that came from a preorder shows what you paid, and My orders finally has a search field. Turn the system text size up and the screens hold together, with search and headers in the same place on every tab.

Cratelog is free and will stay free. This update adds Cratelog Plus, an optional way to support the app if you want to. Cratelog is made by one person. Hosting, storage for your book photos and access to book databases have all been paid out of pocket until now. Plus helps cover that. It is optional, lives in Settings only, and nothing you already use moves behind it. What Plus adds: • Subscription Review: a review for each box you track, in one place. • Compare: your boxes side by side, with cost per month and cost per book. Everything else stays free, and an ended membership takes no records with it. Your own copy, photographed Every book in your library has seven photo slots: front, edges, back and spine, jacket on and jacket off. The camera walks you through them one after another and frames the book for you, so a full set takes one pass. A shelf of the books you own Photographed copies stand together on a shelf in your library, spine out, the way they stand at home. Turn one to its cover, turn the whole run in a wave, and drag any book to any place on the boards. Turn the book in your hand Photograph all four sides of a copy and the book screen assembles them into a solid you turn with your finger. Sprayed edges finally look like sprayed edges. How long a waitlist really takes A waitlist now tells you the median wait of the people who already got in, counted from what our own users recorded. With fewer than three of them it says nothing rather than guessing. A cycle with no box When a publisher skips a month, record it as a cycle that never shipped: it expects no charge, costs you no skip, and the deadline reminder stays quiet.

Photographing your copies got a lot better • The camera shows a frame that tells you where the book goes, and the crop finds the book for you. • A photo that came out sideways can be turned in the crop step. • Tapping an empty slot opens the camera straight away. • Save now waits for every shot to finish uploading, so nothing goes missing. • Tapping an empty jacket-off slot photographs the jacket-off faces, not the others. Fixed • Broken Binding series skips now offer the series your next charge pays for, not the one that already shipped.

Reveals, edition details and the people who make them. • Edition details: every reveal now has a page of its own. Theme, announcement, cover treatment, sprayed edges, endpapers, dust jacket, page count and the credits behind them. • Artist profiles: tap a credited name to see who they are, where to follow them, and every box they have worked on. • A richer reveal card: your subscription shows the book, the theme and what makes this edition special at a glance, with links back to the box's own announcement. • Spoilers stay spoilers: if you have not revealed a month yet, the new details never give the book away. • Fixes: the Android notification icon is the crate mark again, the month history checklist is far easier to read, and a community guess hides its title instead of the whole credit.

New - Boxes are drawn with their brand logo instead of a letter. - Book detail and Add to collection show subject tags and the book description. - Sales & Drops has a search field over title, service and author. Fixed - Clearing the seeded price during onboarding no longer restores it on the last backspace. - Buttons that used to sit dead without explanation now say which field they need: Add subscription, onboarding, Add and Edit order, Edit subscription. - The keyboard no longer covers the field you are typing in on order forms, waitlist and submission screens. - Removing a charge no longer leaves the next payment row you open showing the wrong pane. - A book added from search now keeps its page count, description and tags, not just one added by scan.

Two ratings, one book Rate the edition itself, its printing and extras, separately from how much you liked the story.

Fixed a problem of marking a book as sold in the planner

Faster library loading with lighter photo previews. Fixed billing dates that could silently default to the wrong day, throwing off skip deadlines and reminders. The app can now repair an existing wrong schedule for you. Bug fixes and improvements.

Every preorder now has its own screen with the full history, and any step can be undone. Payment history you can correct Every cycle since you joined is listed, so you can log an old charge, edit an amount or remove one you recorded by mistake. Removing a payment never moves your next billing date. Track a box we do not have yet Report a missing box and you can start tracking it in the same step. Even if it never joins our catalog, it counts in your spending, reminders and payment history like any other subscription. Imports keep more of your data Goodreads and StoryGraph imports now bring your reviews, notes, publisher, page count and reading start date. Your books also land under the year you added them, not all on import day.

StoryGraph import: bring your library over from StoryGraph, alongside Goodreads. Both now keep reviews, private notes, publisher, page count, publication year and reading start dates, and the date you added a book becomes its date in your collection. Export my data: your whole account as one JSON file or a set of CSVs, built on your phone and shared wherever you like. Free, no limits. Settings now has a Data section for importing, exporting and account deletion.

• Add your past boxes — Already got books from earlier boxes? A guided wizard fills your shelf from what shipped each month, no scanning needed. • Track a box twice — Own a box and gift another? You can add the same box more than once and label each one so they stay easy to tell apart. • Log any billing cycle — Mark as paid now lets you pick which bill you are paying, so past and off-cycle charges record correctly. • Sales into preorders — Bought something from a tracked sale? Move it straight to your preorders with the cover and source already filled in.
