Crescendo turns your piano into a stage. Connect a USB-MIDI keyboard, watch the colorful notes fall, and play along — every note you hit right is applause. It's the arcade game that secretly teaches you piano. PLAY FIRST. LEARN ALWAYS. Crescendo isn't a sheet-music drill or a homework app. Notes become bright falling gems that line up perfectly with your keys, so you learn by playing real songs from your very first session — no notation required. LEARN ONE HAND AT A TIME Start with your right hand, add your left, then put them together. Crescendo unlocks each stage as you're ready and rewards accuracy with stars, so progress always feels earned. REAL FEEDBACK FROM YOUR REAL PIANO Plug in a Yamaha or any USB-MIDI keyboard and Crescendo listens to every note and pedal you play — velocity, timing, and all. A built-in coach spots where you rushed, dragged, or stumbled, with finger suggestions to help you nail the tricky bits. A LIBRARY TO GROW INTO Begin with Hot Cross Buns and Twinkle Twinkle, build up to Ode to Joy, Minuet in G, and the opening of Für Elise. Slow any song to 50% or 75% while you learn, then bring it back up to full tempo. ENDLESS MODE When you're ready to really play, Endless mode sends a never-ending stream of music that climbs in difficulty the longer you survive. Chase your high score and earn badges. BUILT FOR THE LONG HAUL Daily streaks, XP, levels, achievements, and a practice journal keep you coming back — because the fastest path to a lifelong musical habit is joy, not duty. WHAT YOU NEED • An iPad running iPadOS 17 or later • A USB-MIDI piano or keyboard connected to your iPad No piano yet? You can still tap the on-screen keys to try everything out. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS Crescendo runs entirely on your device. Nothing you play is uploaded, tracked, or shared. Your first concert starts here.

Profiles for the whole family Everyone who plays on this iPad now has their own profile: their own XP, stars, badges, streaks, recordings and settings. Switching player takes one tap on the avatar in the corner, so nobody's progress gets tangled up with anyone else's. Toddler mode A different app altogether for a player who cannot read yet. One animal is asked for at a time, its key is marked on the keyboard, and finding that note anywhere on the piano is a celebration: real applause, confetti, balloons and fireworks, never the same one twice in a row. Ten in a row brings a new animal friend into the game, so the number of notes to choose between grows at his own pace. Nothing is timed and nothing can be lost. Leaving toddler mode asks a grown-up question first, so small hands cannot wander off into somebody else's progress. Reading music New lessons for reading the staff, including placing a named note where it belongs on the lines and spaces. Record what you play Play along to anything on your piano and Crescendo captures the notes, so you can practice the same piece on the note highway later. Also in this update - Daily Practice tracks how quickly the chords come back to you, with a graph of how that improves. - The chord games now recognise rolled chords, not only block ones. - The piano connection status follows you onto every screen, so you notice the moment the piano powers itself off mid-song.
