Paw Cool Check – Dog AC
Room temp for every dog
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
See a room-temperature guideline tailored to your dog's breed and age, with weather, humidity, risk level, and widgets at a glance. No ads or analytics tracking.
Wondering what room temperature is right for your dog today?
Paw Cool Check combines local temperature and humidity with your dog's breed and age to show a recommended air conditioner setting and five-level heatstroke risk guideline.
Dogs respond to heat differently. The app adjusts its recommendation for traits including brachycephalic (flat-faced) breeds, double coats, breeds originating in cold climates, large breeds, puppies, and senior dogs. Choose from 49 breeds or enter a mixed breed.
Key features:
- Recommended cooling setting tailored to your dog
- Five-level risk gauge with clear colors and guidance
- Current outdoor temperature and humidity from Apple Weather
- Manual mode for readings from your own room thermometer
- Small Home Screen widget for a quick check
- No ads or analytics tracking
Free features:
- One dog profile
- Recommended setting and risk level
- Automatic local weather or manual room conditions
- Small Home Screen widget
Pro is a one-time purchase and adds:
- Multiple dog profiles, with a setting that works for all of them — and when their needs are too far apart, it follows the dog who needs the most heat awareness
- Alerts when the risk level rises
- Medium Home Screen widget with temperature, humidity, and dog names
The displayed settings and risk levels are guidelines, and individual dogs vary. The best setting can change with the home environment and your dog's condition. If you notice concerning symptoms, consult a veterinarian.
Location data is sent to Apple only to fetch weather. The last location and dog profiles are stored on your device. KiesS Works does not receive or store them on its servers.
