Battery Lab - Battery Tester
Drain Rate & Health Benchmark
Only for Mac
Free
Mac
Battery Lab runs a controlled load test on your MacBook's battery and measures exactly how many watts it draws — then compares that against real results from the same model worldwide.
Most battery apps show you capacity numbers. Battery Lab tells you how your battery actually performs under real load.
HOW IT WORKS
Battery Lab stresses your CPU, GPU, memory, and disk simultaneously, then measures real power draw in watts using direct hardware readings. After the test, your result is ranked against a growing dataset of results from the same MacBook model. You see exactly where you stand.
WHAT YOU GET
- Real watt measurement — not estimates, not percentages
- Healthy / Degraded / Failing classification
- Percentile rank vs. devices of the same model
- Live drain graph with temperature overlay
- Device details: health, cycle count, capacity in mAh
- Test history per device to track degradation over time
- Smart safety stop to protect your battery during testing
DESIGNED FOR
- Mac resellers who need objective battery diagnostics before buying or selling
- Anyone checking a used MacBook before purchase
- Power users who want to understand how their battery is aging
HONEST TESTING
Tests run for 20 to 90 minutes. Longer tests are more accurate. The test stops safely if your battery gets too low.
