Fewer, better-placed ads.

• Read any topic pack free for 24 hours: tap "Watch an ad" on a pack you don’t own yet, watch a short ad to the end, and the whole pack opens for the day. • The free version now shows full-screen ads a little more often, including one short break halfway through longer card sets. There are never two within 10 minutes. Remove Ads or EconByte Pro turns every ad off. • Small fixes and improvements.

• Pro lessons are now illustrated: almost every lesson screen carries a picture, from textbook candlestick patterns to bond charts drawn from published Federal Reserve data, each with its source underneath. • One larger key-idea picture in every lesson, and tighter lesson screens — less chrome, and a quiz explanation that is never hidden behind the Next button. • Your courses now come first on the Pro tab once you have started one. • Ad fixes: an ad could flash and vanish when leaving a set; it no longer does. • If you allow tracking when asked, ads are more relevant. You can change your answer any time in Settings > Manage tracking.

• EconByte Pro: a new optional subscription with three courses (27 lessons with charts, diagrams and quizzes), a news brief built from official data releases, every topic pack and every core topic, and no ads. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. • More to read: every core topic now has 12 cards (180 across 15 topics), and there are six topic packs of 48 cards each, including four new ones: Economic History, Economies Around the World, Economic Systems and Personal Finance. All 15 topics and 120 cards are back, including the five topics the previous update left out. • Usage analytics and crash diagnostics are separate, optional choices in Settings — both off unless you turn them on. • After your first finished set, EconByte asks once whether ads may be measured. Either answer is fine — ads are never personalized. • VoiceOver announces each card's topic, position and face, and card flips respect Reduce Motion. • The highlight on the home screen now matches its refreshed source data.
