That tiny pause is usually all it takes to put the phone back down. HOW IT WORKS • Pick the apps you want to block • Block them all the time, or only during set hours each day • Open a blocked app and Grounded shows a shield • Beat a challenge to earn a short window of access • When time's up, the apps re-block automatically THE MORE YOU OPEN, THE HARDER IT GETS Every time you come back, the challenge gets tougher — so impulse-checking actually costs you something. CHOOSE YOUR CHALLENGE • Math — solve quick arithmetic • Color memory — memorize and tap the tiles • Phrase recall — find the missing word • Squats — do real reps in front of the camera • Step it out — get up and walk it off • Surprise me — a random challenge each time WAKE UP GROUNDED Set an alarm you can only silence by completing a challenge. Do squats, walk it out, or solve math to shut it off — no more snoozing your way through the morning. SEE YOUR PROGRESS Track how many times you resisted, how often you gave in, and which challenges keep you honest. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Grounded runs entirely on your device using Apple's Screen Time framework. It never sees what you do inside your apps, and nothing leaves your phone.
