SideCore is a minimal macOS notebook that lives quietly in your menu bar and opens exactly when you need it.
It is designed for fast capture during real work: a thought, a draft, a link, a quick note, or a piece of text you do not want to lose.
SideCore supports two calm working spaces:
Side Panel Mode
Open a narrow note panel from the edge of your desktop. It stays close to your work without taking over your screen.
Center Panel Mode
Switch into a larger writing space when you need more room to think, edit, review, or organize.
SideCore now supports both Plain Text mode and Markdown mode.
Write in a simple plain-text flow, or switch to Markdown when you want structured notes with cleaner preview for tables, lists, checklists, quotes, and code blocks.
