Some thoughts are easier typed than spoken and every thought deserves a voice. Type turns writing into speech with a single tap. Calm, instant, and made for every child.
Type a thought. Hear it spoken.
Tiko Type is a calm, distraction-free way to communicate in writing — and to have those words spoken aloud the moment they're ready. Built for children who find some thoughts easier to type than to say, Type keeps writing and speaking together in one quiet place. One field. One button. No menus competing with the sentence.
Whether a child prefers typing over speaking, is building language, or simply wants their words to have a voice in the room, Type makes the path from thought to voice as short as possible.
Type and speak — instantly Compose a message and tap once to hear it spoken aloud. No setup, no clutter, no distractions. The sentence stays front and center.
A keyboard that fits Choose from QWERTY, AZERTY, QWERTZ, ABC, or Dvorak layouts, and pick from six gentle themes — Classic, Warm, Cool, Colorful, Contrast, and Ghost. Works beautifully with on-screen keyboards and external hardware alike.
Saved phrases, always one tap away Keep the words that come up often close by, so they're ready the moment they're needed.
Made for every child Speak each letter as it's typed, toggle capitals, turn animations on or off, and choose a voice that feels right. Available in 13 languages, including English, German, Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, and more.
Works offline, opens instantly Type works fully offline with no login walls. Drafts and settings are saved on the device, so it's always ready — anywhere.
Type is part of the Tiko family of calm, immediate, and accessible communication tools for children. Each Tiko app does one thing well, without friction or clutter.
