Your walk-away number, before the bidding starts. Salvage or clean title, priced on real completed sales; and now sorted by what is closest to you.
AuctionMate helps you decide what a salvage or used auction car is really worth — before you bid.
Paste a Copart or IAAI link (or a VIN) and get a clear read on the lot:
• A plain-language verdict on every car — Strong Margin, Thin Margin, or Below Cost
• Your maximum bid, and the profit at that price
• Decoded VIN, title status, and reported damage
• Market resale values for the vehicle
• What similar cars actually sold for, from our own record of completed auctions
• Inspection mode — a guided walkthrough for when you go to see the car, with a parts sheet and notes that save against the VIN
• A watchlist that reminds you before a car crosses the block
Whether you flip cars, run a dealer lot, or just want an edge on your next auction buy, AuctionMate turns a messy listing into one clear decision.
Your watch lists, notes and repair figures are shared with the AuctionMate web dashboard and Chrome extension, so a car you save at the yard is on your desktop when you get back.
Free to use.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
A FIRST RUN THAT ASKS, THEN SHOWS
Setup now asks three questions - how you sell, where you are, and how you handle shipping - and nothing else. They are the three settings that actually move the numbers, so answering them makes every figure that follows yours rather than a default.
The teaching moved to where it lands: a four-stop walkthrough on the first real car you open, instead of slides shown before you have a car in front of you. It stays reachable afterwards in Settings under Learn.
MORE HONEST NUMBERS
Several figures were confidently wrong. They are not any more.
- Flood titles. A flood-titled car was valued as though its title were clean. Salt-water flood cars were hit hardest, by a wide margin.
- Damage severity. Marking a car "heavy" could quietly revert to "moderate" the next time you opened it, and even when it held, the value and the repair estimate disagreed about what "heavy" meant.
- Shipping. The same auction yard could be priced two different ways depending on how its name was written, sending the estimate hundreds of dollars out on cars you could collect locally.
- Similar cars sold. Cars we hold thousands of completed sales for could report no sales at all. The "all sales of this model-year" figure could also show a narrower count than it claimed.
- Asking price. A listing with no price read as the best deal on the page instead of as a missing number.
FIXES
- The watchlist could stop loading more results.
- The loading indicator showed a stray back arrow.
- Search now finds a car when your spelling does not exactly match ours - order, case, punctuation and extra words no longer matter.
- An auction's opening placeholder is no longer recorded as a real bid.
- A title we could not read is no longer described as clean.
