What is new in this version Getting started and tutorial - The image duel at the start now has three rounds instead of one. - Flashcards opened from the image duel no longer lead nowhere: links out are switched off during the tutorial and clearly marked as such. - The tutorial can be finished with a single tap. All tiles are unlocked right away and the prompt does not come back. - In the spot diagnosis warm up you are asked after the third question whether you want to carry on with the level or look around the app first. - Fewer prompts at once: the hint about unlockable features now appears only after the tutorial is done. - Rating single questions is hidden for the first days after signing up. The four difficulty buttons stay. Content and images - GOAE course: all practice cases checked and corrected against the official fee schedule. - Dermoscopy trainer: 15 new cases from our own course images with structures you can switch on. - Many image corrections on flashcards: wrongly linked images replaced, duplicate photos merged, diagnoses named more precisely, for example cockade naevus instead of a general naevus. - Six questions fixed where the correct answer was accidentally also offered as a wrong answer. - Clinical signs point to the right disease again, for example Koplik spots for measles and Forchheimer spots for rubella. - Three new flashcards: terra firma forme dermatosis, dermatitis neglecta, trichostasis spinulosa. - Congress list updated, now including internal medicine. Handling - Image captions no longer cover the picture. They start collapsed, and the button to open and close them now carries a word instead of just an arrow. - Feedback: anyone who gets a reply from us can now answer it directly. - An award for reports that changed something, in three tiers. It appears next to your name in the ranking, pseudonyms included. - The workplace screen now says plainly what the entry is for: finding colleagues from your own hospital or practice. And what does not happen: no public profile, nothing passed on, delete it any time. - The mindmap learning mode has been removed.

Bugfixes

Pathophysiology of the day: Mark it as viewed and build your own streak. Further improvements: English flashcards for KP-Med and RettungsFuchs, dedicated level titles in GynFuchs, shorter answer options, faster loading and many small bug fixes.

Spot diagnosis has a new question screen. The photo now runs the full width so more of the finding is visible. The controls sit on the image instead of above it, the history is easy to read below, and the remaining time runs as a thin line inside the button. Two new topics are unlocked: vessels and circulation, and parasites and travel dermatoses. Ten reviewed questions on pigmented skin lesions have been added as well. Loading is noticeably faster. The career mode and the study calendar now fetch less than half as much data when you open them. The study calendar also no longer gets stuck when a request does not answer. Progress bars now show real progress. They used to jump between fixed values. Each step now carries a weight based on how long it actually takes, and the app learns from every launch. The current state is shown as a percentage next to it. The start screen of the language exam is calmer. Instead of several colour gradients a single colour leads, and the most important action stands out clearly from the second one. In the language exam the spoken text only appears in writing when there is nothing to listen to. If a recording does not start, the app says so and a tap starts it again. When you finish a study session a short note explains what the four buttons do and that your choice decides when the card comes back. It appears three times and then disappears. The tiles on the start page are fixed. The colour stripe now ends exactly with the card, and two line names are no longer cut off. The large image at the top of a page adapts to short windows and no longer takes up half the screen. If you decline the disclaimer you now get a clear follow up question instead of being dropped without a word.

Spot diagnosis has been expanded significantly. There are new levels on nail changes, vascular conditions, parasites and travel dermatoses, and inflammatory skin diseases. Every session now contains ten images with at least five different diagnoses, and many tasks come with matching histology and dermoscopy images. The answer can no longer be revealed by enlarging an image. The warm up level disappears once completed, and further levels unlock step by step. If you are preparing for the specialist exam, you start directly in a suitable clinical level. The nevus atlas has been completely rebuilt with corrected markings, a three dimensional view and structure diagrams. The dermoscopy trainer now shows the skin layer of every structure with a cross section. New is Pathophysio daily with short daily insights into autoimmune and inflammatory skin diseases. Getting started after registration is faster and shows what is being loaded. MFAFuchs has been streamlined and its levels merged. FSP Med offers three ways to get started, the exam calendar is directly accessible, and the examiners speaking pace and the tasks follow your placement level. KP Med starts with at most five cases. PflegeFuchs has a new opening question that can be skipped. All start images are now real clinical photos. The app launches faster, runs more smoothly and has become smaller.

Images where they belong - Every diagnosis mentioned can now carry its own image, not just the first one per card. If a diagnosis appears again, we show a different image of the same condition. - Real photographs take precedence over generated images. Where a real clinical photo exists, it now comes first. - New freely licensed images: Refsum syndrome, Sjoegren-Larsson syndrome, Fournier gangrene, phlegmasia cerulea dolens, tuberculosis cutis verrucosa, bullous erysipelas. - Image links no longer appear in therapy or guideline sentences, in tables, or behind headings that list several diagnoses. They sit with the diagnosis itself. - More than 50 wrongly matched images removed, among them a cafe-au-lait macule under tuberous sclerosis and a stork bite under Sturge-Weber syndrome. - Every image on a card, including those linked in the text, now appears in the image strip at the top. Tapping an image pill shows its description and further images of the same diagnosis. - Sources sit at the end of the sentence instead of taking a line of their own. PubMed sources are marked as such. Rendering - Image markers inside tables and inside bold passages used to show up as raw text. Fixed. - Drug names now render as chips in the English cards. Also - The daily streak counts across the whole account: one correct answer a day is enough, in any area. - Switch app now lives in the profile and can be found through search. - Heatmap directly from the Weakest topics card. - Exam simulation: score always visible, subtitles and translation can be enabled separately, larger point budget, handwritten history form. - Smaller layout and loading time fixes.

Advances in Friendship function.

Study together with friends. The golden button on the home screen lets you find friends by ranking name, invite new people by link or code and see who is studying right now. Shared study time, history, groups and the invitation tree show who joined through you. Invitation links open the app with the friend code already filled in. FSP Med and FSP Care now start with a short placement conversation, one question per screen, with a language choice in 13 languages. The doctor letter check is stricter, cases were added and distractors reworked. Dermoscopy course with a new structure training on idealized schematics plus a nevus and melanoma atlas right inside the case. Flashcards are served in smaller portions and text blocks now break only at real sentence ends. Fixed. Tiles could in rare cases stay locked although no introduction was running. Flashcards now remember how far you got with the cloze gaps. If you leave a card, you come back to exactly that state. Text is no longer revealed all at once. Between two gaps the sentence in between appears first, so you actually read it instead of jumping from gap to gap. Melanoma and urticaria have been expanded substantially. Melanoma now covers the MAPK ERK BRAF pathway, urticaria the pathomechanism with both endotypes. In nursing, the review of a wound now shows pictures of the matching dressing materials, from hydrogel to alternating pressure mattress. InnereFuchs has a new section on inspection findings with eleven classic bedside diagnoses, plus eight new ECG and chest X-ray cases. Several images were replaced with real, freely licensed photographs. The podcast is now called Studies Guidelines Approvals Update and is easier to find on the home screen. Newly recorded episodes play right away. Drug approvals and guidelines are being updated regularly again. Fixed: The photo in the learning path fills its circle again. Zooming an image during a spot diagnosis no longer shows a differential diagnosis button.

The learning path has a new design with larger stages and real photos. The image gallery now has two colored buttons for differential diagnoses and more images of the same diagnosis. The billing courses have a search that also finds codes by meaning. In spot diagnosis the image now loads completely before the timer starts. In the dermoscopy trainer the hints light up one after another, and typos and synonyms are accepted as correct. Many flashcards now have reference sections on device based and special therapies. New clinical photos in the image galleries. The weekly ranking was removed and the monthly ranking now shows the correct position. Various bug fixes.
