• Circles: the people you share with, from a team for a season to your cousins. Add someone and they're invited; everyone in a circle sees and adds to its capsules and its shared album • Upload straight to a circle, and everyone in it hears when you add photos • A circle can be more than one thing (Gym · Friends), with a cover photo you choose or upload, and its people one tap away at the top • Families on All People: see each family together, find a family by any name in it, and select people to make a family or add them to a circle • Your family tree, redrawn: couples in one box, a card view, search, adopted, step and foster children, middle names and "Named after" • Ask family a question from their card. They choose who sees each answer, and answers land in their life, decade by decade • Your story on one line: a Timeline of milestones, family moments and answers, Just me or With family • A new Home: fresh ideas and stories each time you open it, what's coming up this week, and news from your people • HDR video stays HDR, and plays as HDR on screens that can show it; older iPhone videos that looked washed out look right again • The right question at the right moment: compressing videos, keeping originals with Plus, a Face ID lock, transcription and who can tag you are asked the first time they matter • Invites carry a code again, for anyone who installs the app before tapping the link • Choose your own privacy on a shared capsule, and copy what's shared with you into your Library • Members can add moments to videos; swipe left to delete one • Fixes: video controls show up every time on iOS 27, filtering the Library no longer crashes, uploading a video no longer leaves the app ignoring taps, and "Link + password" shows when you have a site password

• Uploads keep going while your phone is locked: videos are prepared ahead and handed off together, and a plugged-in phone keeps working overnight • Cooler video compression: one video at a time, paced by your phone's temperature, with a heads-up in Low Power Mode and an option to keep the screen on while uploading • Your timeline now asks 2 or 3 questions for every five years of your life, drawn from the Life Story Journey guide, and your answers land in the years they're about • Prompts show how you answered each question, with links straight to the note, Story or capsule • People and Connections are one list: see at a glance who's invited, waiting or connected, and invite anyone with a tap • Notifications are grouped by kind, with what needs you at the top. Swipe to dismiss, and turn off any kind you don't want • Record notes and Stories with Pause, then review before saving. Saving happens in the background while you keep going • Birthday reminders let you record a note and send it the same day • Video notes play full screen with captions, and Read shows the whole transcript • RAW camera photos and Photoshop files now show as full-quality photos • More and Settings are one screen, with Prompts and Letters at the top • Select a whole day at once in a capsule, and clean up duplicates one group at a time • Smoother pinch-to-zoom in your Library • New email accounts confirm with a 6-digit code • Your birthday carries over to your family tree • Fixes: a capsule's cover updates when its photo is removed, Review on a suggested capsule shows the whole group, and messages at the top of the screen get out of the way faster
