MatterPrep is a focused workspace for organizing a personal legal matter and using AI-assisted self-help tools with clear limits. It helps you collect facts, goals, notes, documents, action items, and questions in one place before you act or speak with a qualified professional.
ORGANIZE A MATTER
• Create a workspace for the facts, goal, notes, saved results, and next steps
• Use the workspace without an account; guest Matter data stays on that device
• Sign in when you want account-based sync and recovery
• Delete local Matter data or your account from Settings

AI tools require a signed-in account, your acknowledgement of the AI notice, and an active Apple-verified membership. Submitted text—and a selected document image only when you choose one—is sent through MatterPrep’s authenticated service to OpenAI. Remove sensitive identifiers before submitting content.

MatterPrep provides general legal information, organization tools, and editable self-help drafts. It is not a lawyer or law firm, does not provide legal representation or legal advice, and does not create an attorney-client relationship. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or inapplicable to your jurisdiction. Verify deadlines, rights, procedures, citations, and important decisions with official sources and a qualified local lawyer or legal-aid organization. Do not rely on MatterPrep for emergencies.
MEMBERSHIP
MatterPrep Weekly is an auto-renewable weekly subscription. Apple shows the current localized price and any eligible introductory offer before confirmation. Payment is charged to your Apple ID after you confirm. Membership renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in Apple subscription settings. Deleting the app or your MatterPrep account does not cancel billing.

This update also strengthens purchase and restore handling, clarifies OpenAI processing before text or document photos are sent, and adds complete in-app deletion, privacy, terms, and support guidance.
