New & improved: - Task reminders now arrive at a time you choose — 9:00 AM unless you change it — in your phone's local time: the day before a task is due, the day it's due, and once a day for up to three days if it's overdue. Several tasks due on the same morning arrive as one notice that opens the tasks needing attention. - Assign a task to someone on your crew. Only that person is reminded about it, and you're told if a crew task is still open three days after it was due. "Assigned To" appears on a task once crew have joined your boat. - Choose whether you're listed as Owner or Captain on your own boat, and add your name, in Settings → Crew & Sharing. Show Crew By switches Assigned To and task badges between names and roles on your phone. - Settings → Notifications now has real controls: the reminder time, switches for the day-before and overdue reminders, and a check that iOS is allowing notifications. - New Help & FAQ on the More screen, with a search box and answers about reminders, crew, maintenance tasks, syncing and backup. - Vessel Sharing is now Crew & Sharing, and much calmer. Sync details tuck behind one line that turns amber or red when something needs you, each crew member is a collapsed row, and the iCloud repair tools moved to Settings → Contact Support → Sync Repair. - A task's history now shows who completed it. - Nearby sync now tells you when Local Network access is off, explains what it's for, and takes you straight to Settings to turn it on. - Needs Attention is quieter and clearer. Items that clear themselves no longer raise the banner, items for a boat that isn't on this phone say so and offer Open Boats in iCloud, and one tap clears a whole batch from this phone. Fixes: - Tasks in Recently Deleted no longer send reminders. - Fixed a crew member's title being cut off after the first letter when typing it on the Crew & Sharing page.

New & improved: -Manage your subscription right in the app. More → Subscription shows when your plan renews or ends, and Manage Subscription opens Apple's own screen to change or cancel it. If a payment fails, you'll get a heads-up there, with a way to fix it before you lose access. -Restoring a boat from iCloud is safer. Boats you've deleted are labelled as deleted, and Restore is only offered for boats that still exist. Fixes: -Crew access no longer stays paused after the boat owner renews their subscription. It now comes back on its own. -The "Vessel Sharing Paused" screen no longer briefly shows the paused boat when the app opens, and clears straight away when you switch to another boat. -Maintenance tasks linked to equipment from another boat no longer disappear from the list or get counted wrongly in Service Status. -Weather and tide readings now always use the units you chose. -Inventory CSV exports now fill in Zone and Location for every item.

-Fixed a piece of machinery sharing another's hour meter for the first time (e.g. a saildrive sharing its engine's gauge) showing the meter's entire lifetime hours as its own component hours, instead of counting from when you linked them. -Fixed a crash on launch caused by a background check for anything not yet assigned to a boat.

bug fixes

Automatic daily backup of your boat's data — including photos and attachments — to iCloud Drive, independent of sync. The last 10 backups are kept, and you can restore from one right from Settings → Backup & Restore. Also new: a one-tap CSV export of your gear, inventory, and categories for opening in a spreadsheet. You can now import your Machinery and Equipment from a spreadsheet, the same way Inventory and Provisions already work — download a template, fill it in, and bring in your whole engine room or gear list at once instead of typing each item by hand. If a row's Type or Zone doesn't match anything on your boat yet, you'll be walked through fixing it one row at a time, and fixing one row fixes every other row with the same value. Fixed importing Inventory or Provisions from a CSV file silently dropping the Unit Cost for many common spreadsheet exports — the cost would come in as $0 with no warning shown. Fixed the trip log scrolling nearly freezing while importing a large GPX track (e.g. a full Great Loop route), plus deleting or restoring a trip log point taking about half a second each time. Fixed the whole app feeling sluggish after a large trip log import — a stutter on nearly every screen change. Fixed the Dashboard's Service Status card sometimes showing a stale overdue count after switching boats.

- Fixed date pickers not responding to taps when editing equipment, maintenance tasks, trip log entries, or logging a fuel transfer. - Fixed not being able to choose a specific storage location or container when adding a new inventory item to a zone that didn't already have one set up — editing an item already worked. - Logging a completed service now has a spot for parts & consumables used, not just notes. - You can now import inventory and provisions from a CSV file, with a review step for any rows whose category or storage location doesn't already exist.

You can now mark a one-time service task as already done right when you add it — no need to create it first and complete it separately. Completed service records now show which checklist steps you finished and which you skipped. Fixed completing a one-time service task not always logging an engine-hour reading or updating the gauge Fixed a crew member showing as "Removed" in Vessel Sharing forever after a subscription lapse and renewal, even after they were fully reconnected. Fixed a serious bug where a crew member could lose their local copy of a shared boat, and be removed from the share entirely, after the owner's subscription had a brief lapse and then renewed — even though the boat was correctly shared again. Fixed the app repeatedly freezing for a second or more right after launch and during sync, on devices with items sitting in Needs Attention. Fixed freshly logged engine-hour readings landing in Needs Attention immediately, even though nothing was actually wrong with them. Existing stuck readings recover automatically the next time the app syncs.

Owning one boat and crewing on another no longer mix: your inventory, trip log, maintenance reminders, and logbook exports each stay scoped to the boat you're actually looking at. Export your Trip Log as a printable PDF deck log, with daily track charts. Sharing a boat with crew is smoother: invites open the right boat immediately, removing someone takes effect the moment their device reconnects, and Vessel Sharing's settings page is calmer, with recovery tools tucked out of the way until you need them. Fuel Planning is more accurate — no more misleading "0 nm" range while sitting still, and restoring a deleted fuel entry now brings back everything that went with it, including the other side of a transfer. Documents can now carry an expiration date, and you can upload one without first attaching it to a piece of equipment. The free plan now includes two photos per trip log entry instead of one. Fixed your subscription showing as the free plan when you're out of signal, a black screen left behind after sending a crew invite, the trip log getting stuck loading older entries, and notifications not opening the right screen.
