Daily Mix progress is more reliable when you reopen Curio, with fewer repeat ideas and a consistent preview for tomorrow. Feeds and AI tools have clearer loading, cancel, and retry states. Saved Originals handle reader changes more reliably, and saved Pro card titles remain visible after access ends. We've corrected selected readings, clarified source labels, and made the Profile's Card visits count easier to understand. Cards are easier to scroll through, and selected readings are clearer and a little shorter. We've also improved recovery after interrupted feed-pack purchases. Pro Preview, bought with Sparks, now unlocks every Pro tool. The subscription screen keeps Restore Purchases and the subscription terms in reach and states renewal terms more clearly, and card labels are translated in every language.

Your first mix now opens after one optional interests screen, with 10 curated, source-backed reads ready immediately. Curio now keeps unseen cards ahead of older ones while fresh catalogue content remains, labels later revisits honestly, and adds Not for me with a six-second Undo. The Stories tab also brings Curio Originals and your saved library together in one place. This release also improves Daily Mix continuity, duplicate prevention, and stability.

Curio Originals now remember where you stopped. Leave a story partway and it reopens on the same slide, and you can move straight on to the next Original when one ends. New Originals can arrive without an app update, and two hard-to-read slides in Room Remembers have been re-lettered so they are clear at any size. End-of-session prompts now take turns instead of stacking, badge moments wait until after your daily recap, and swiping and topic timers in the feed are steadier.

After onboarding, Curio now opens your personalized Daily Mix immediately — no paywall detour. Your Daily Mix remembers the exact card where you stopped and keeps its order for the day. When you’re caught up, Worth Revisiting brings back worthwhile reads, and the recap previews a real card from tomorrow’s mix. We also improved saved and offline reading, accessibility, subscription clarity, and stability.

After you finish the Daily Mix, Curio now offers a one-tap reminder for tomorrow's lead card — no digging through Settings. The Curio Pro screen shows its prices clearly and lists only what Pro actually includes. Save now sits directly on the card, and trust labels reflect each card's actual source. Onboarding marks Pro-only interests before you pick them. Smaller fixes and polish throughout.

Cards across the whole library have been rewritten to be shorter and sharper, with refreshed Chinese, Spanish, and Portuguese translations. Today's Mix now draws from every topic, including ones it previously skipped, and rotates the full library over time. Explain deeper now shows only the real answer, with no placeholder text. If card generation is briefly unavailable, the app says so honestly instead of counting failed attempts against your daily feeds. Smaller fixes and polish.

Curio now keeps a small, anonymous daily count: was the app opened, and was something worth saving or sharing found. It helps us tell which features genuinely help readers. It is not linked to your name or account, and nothing you read, write or search is part of it. Details are in our privacy policy at trycurio.app/privacy.

Polish and small fixes, so stories stay quick to load and easy to finish.

Your daily notification now tells you what is actually waiting: the idea that leads tomorrow's mix, not a generic reminder. When you finish a session, Curio now picks the one card you spent the most time with — or saved, liked, or shared — and offers to send it to someone. Reader stories now say what they are: a Reader story tag and the topic, right on the card. And once in a long while, Curio may invite you to write one of your own.

The feed now learns how long you like to read. Stay on short cards and you get more short cards. Linger on the long ones and it goes deeper. It measures how long you stay against how long the card asks for, so a long read never wins just for taking longer. It also makes a point of showing you a length you have not tried yet, then stops once it knows — a preference it never offers you the chance to express is one it can never learn. When you finish a topic you can now ask for more of that topic, rather than starting a different one. You get cards you have not read; if there is nothing new, you are not charged. Run out of feeds for the day and you get the whole picture instead of one button: when the free ones come back, what your Sparks already cover, and what a feed costs. Sparks you have earned now buy feeds outright. Reading in Spanish, Portuguese or Chinese now ranks cards that actually read in your language, instead of ones that happen to carry translations you will never see. Settings is darker and quieter, and Reset now clears everything it said it would.

Fixes, mostly to things that should already have worked. Hidden Knowledge, Never Taught, Lines That Hit, True Stories and Deep Thoughts were opening empty. They now open with the cards they were always meant to have. "Go even deeper" used to show a rough draft first and swap it for the real answer a moment later. Now it just gives you the real one. Subscribing unlocks the Pro categories straight away, instead of on the next launch. Offline downloads, the Daily Mix, and reading with no connection all behave correctly now.
