• The first time you open the app, “Turn on sound detection” now sits directly under “A loud alarm for your nearby phone”. The guide starts at the top and scrolls, keeping the button above the bottom banner; all steps and the nearby-phone local-alarm note remain below it. • Answering camera, microphone or motion permission prompts while arming no longer puts a full-screen ad before the armed screen. • An ad still pending after stopping an alarm or switching sound/motion modes is cancelled by any touch, arming/disarming, an alarm test, Back or leaving the app. It cannot cover your next action. Ad frequency limits and detection are unchanged.

No more false alarms the moment you arm it: the app now spends about a second measuring your room's normal noise before it starts listening, and shows "Measuring room noise…" while it does. A new "Try it now" card walks you through one test clap or whistle so you know it works where your phone is lying. Double-clap mode now ignores TV sound and applause far better. Motion log and intruder photo times now show in your language. Czech, Danish, Finnish, Hebrew and Dutch are now fully translated.

The final onboarding button now turns on sound detection and arms FindPhone as soon as the required permissions are granted. You can still arm it manually, and flash permission handling stays consistent. Detection is local, not GPS tracking, and the app must remain open in the foreground.

Double-clap confirm on Sound sentry. Verify: enable Double-clap confirm, arm Sound. One clap does not ring. Two claps about 0.4 s apart ring. Toggle off and a single clap rings again. Applause bursts do not fire.

Alerts now arrive properly on Android instead of landing silently, and the app no longer interrupts you in the middle of what you came to do.
